It’s not really a furry game tbh, it’s just Pokémon with cooler combat and Palworld but wholesome. The only fanservice is towards humanoid female characters (furries are animals on 2 feet as opposed to humans with animal ears) and not towards the animals so it’s not at all furry based 💀
No matter how similar a game is to genshin,I'm just happy to see this new genre of open world gacha come into the spotlight Creating an entire new community around these types of games, and seeing all the fun ways the idea can be explored.the only issue I find is that it seems like developers are trying to one up eachother all the time because they're unfortunately going to be labeled as a "genshin killer".these games should all coexist, not compete
Agreed. They should just coexist and if there is competition, it should just be a bit of healthy competition, without labels like "Genshin killer/BOTW clone, etc".
Early Genshin CBT had water like that, they changed it though because it clashed with the anime style. Azur Promilia seems to have a darker colour tone overall though so I'm curious how it will look in the full release
Y'know I kinda dislike how people say this game is gonna be a Genshin killer or this will, it's like they despise how Genshin is, And yes there are some things I do dislike about the game but overall it's still a good gacha, none of these newer games are going to come close to the same level as Genshin, however this game does look very fun.
That's just CC's way of clickbaiting and the term has existed since 2 years ago, ofc it's not going to happen but that's just some CC's trying to cope and wanting genshin to fall like Baldtone
I don't think that something will kill Genshin anytime soon but that doesn't mean that being more popular or makes more money means better. As for the people that dislike (or adore) genshin impact, let them be toxic they are just little kids (or 35 year old males).
I'm still calling it "genshin killer" with an asterisk, if only genshin doesn't come out at a perfect time as covid, it would get killed immediately from a new anime open world title like wuwa or smth
Something that occurred to me while watching this, it would be really cool if there was a game that let you fuse with your mons. There was a thing on Deviant Art a while back, where people would draw their OCs "fusing" with their partner Pokémon. (In actually they’re wearing armor that resembled their partners and had weapons that could do attacks that they are best known for. (Absol’s trainer has a scythe.)
So now we have this, WuWa, Project Mugen, AND ZZZ Anime games are eating good apparently I'm just glad weren't at least getting ZZZ this year, that's the one I'm most looking forward to (well obviously) but this definitely looks interesting, I like that it looks Tales-like as well
Honestly when I heard the Azur Lane devs announced a new Azur game I wasn’t expecting this to be it. Since I had seen some concept art for a character design for an entirely different Azur IP that would have been more closely tied to Azur Lane. So I wasn’t ready for the more fantastical IP
Anything connected to Azur Lane is DoA for me personally .... but the fact the toxic community for this company wanted no Female MC, no male characters and a male muscular NPC to be deleted b/c "They don't want Lesbian and Gay players to invade our game" immediately turned me off from ever supporting this company ever.
Going to be honest, don’t get what the furry element is, game looks fine though, here’s hoping they’ll be enough competition for hoyoverse to actually do stuff to keep their player base around
The hot topic of discussion was the official announcement that there were only female roles. At this point some male genshin players jumped out and said, "This is THE another genshin I want, no male characters, very traditional jrpg." If planners like tartaglia, wanderer, DHIL, lyney, let them do more. (I'm not playing anymore. You can do whatever I don't like.)"😅
I’m like ooo new game I wanna play. People bring drama and I stay away from immature children who complain negatively about video games or compare them. We have Video game genres for a reason. Just like Sports/Music/Adventure etc People don’t understand genres anymore cause they always say “ this game is like this game etc” im like just play it and shut up about comparing. If you compare games you must have low self esteem about yourself. Its just video games. Not like Tears of the Kingdom got inspired by Princess Mononoke 🙃
Seems like all-female gacha game so, nah, not interested. I want my playable male characters. Otherwise cool consept genshin+palworld. I just hope they'll add male characters too :(
there were leaks of male characters, CN players started downrating the game because of that, went from 10 stars on Bilibili to 7 stars because of those leaks (rating games that aren't even released). Turns out the leaks weren't true or better the leaks of the male characters were early concepts of male NPCs and boss raids not playable characters. After the backlash that they received from CN players because of those fake leaks, idk if we are getting male characters With that said there's at least 1 playable male character (the protagonist can be male or female) and in the devlog the rough translation from Gtranslate said that the characters are customizable so who knows maybe the translation is right and we can customise our protagonist. Also said that their initial idea was to only have female characters because that's what their company is good at (Azur Lane their other game is only female characters). The way that was worded sounded like the possibility of getting male playable characters (apart from the MC) isn't completely of the table cuz the first idea might not be the current one or maybe it still is
These monster designs put the “Pals” of Palworld to SHAME! Look at what you COULD’VE created, Palworld, instead of making AI ripoffs of Pokémon just to steal their fans! Ha! That game completely sucks and this I would rather play over that piece of ripoff trash
the protagonist can be male or female. So that's 1 male character. Idk if Gtranslate, translation of the devlog is accurate but in the devlog says that you can customise the main character. Also in the same devlog the devs said that the first idea was that they wanted to focus what they do better which is female characters ( as seen in their other game Azur Lane) which is why the trailers only show female characters. However the way they worded it was like that was the first idea, it might have changed now or maybe not. Someone leaked male designs for this game and CN players started downrating the game, it went from 10 stars on Bilibili (when it's not even released) to 7 stars. @@symphonixblades I don't understand them at all. HSR, Genshin, PGR and Aether Gazer prove that the presence of a male cast does not in any way affect the quality and fanservice of the female cast. And they can simply skip banners with male characters, which will give them more time to save up for beloved wife.
@@Naarine Real world ships are named as females hence the ship girls in azur lane are female. That's the playerbase they have cultivated so its going to pass onto there other games.

Short version: human with animal ear are "kemonomimi". Furry is humannoid with none of any human skin.

Its always gonna be 'Giant Title' killer in every genre. wow killer has been a thing since wow came out.

You mean like Pokémon reburst? I haven't read much of the manga because it's extremely hard to find, but the fusions look extremely cool

GFL2 and Endfield too

I'm all for it tho. I feel like the money I spent on AL skins was pretty well invested 😂
calling this game a genshin lookalike is saying that every anime open world game is a genshin lookalike
Palworld didn't hook me as much as it did everyone else, but this tho
Looks genuinely very interesting

Which VOD was this on?

What do you say?
Wuthering Waves?
Watch Cyyu voicing one of those "furry" character when the game comes out just watch xD
if this one will not set my pc on fire like palworld does, im in
