So in ZZZ your player character is one of the two gray haired characters. You’re a proxy, or essentially a guide to the Hollows. This is done through remote controlling one of the little rabbit robots called a bangboo. In gameplay you control the characters that you are remotely guiding, but lore wise your player character is not controlling them.
@@ChocolateKieran If I had to take a guess I would say it’s most likely so they don’t have to make an MC that would require new kits after so many patches and could just act as a story character.
Aw, dude. I've had Zenless brainrot since the early trailers. The animation and vibe goes so hard. Don't know if chat later explained it, but the silver-hair guy and blue-hair lady work as guides to the playable characters when entering the "Hollows." They control their little rabbit guy- called a Bangboo- and direct their missions remotely, as it's safer than fending for yourself within a Hollow, given how corrupted people become those monsters or like Nicole's friend.
One of the reasons I love this game, it's super silly and exaggerated on the surface but once you go a little further you realize this world is doomed and it's super dark. But it's never shown directly
The reason you're seeing distinct teams is that the government is mildly corrupt - you can't so much call them evil as incompetent to do some of what needs doing and unwilling to admit the fact (to be fair, doing so sucks for functioning as a government). The player character is acting as a middleman between people who need help and private mercenary contractors, and this is not really legal business even if it is often benefiting the public. The simple fact that everybody needs a "day job" creates groupings. The constant use of monitor screens is due to the premise that you as the player character aren't there in person (thus the use of VR to control a more anonymous proxy robot, and why early on Billy said "Manager" instead of your character's name while shaking the robot) and can use your greater access to information to map and guide the team through non-Euclidean spaces. (This has the development benefit of not needing to fully build the connecting spaces between combat arenas.) This has been controversial among players, especially due to the need to grind content whose non-combat gameplay will grow stale more quickly, and there have been attempts to correct it. I haven't made it into any tests so can't provide specifics. Hollows are a problem for everybody in the long term - they corrupt reality - but the primary problem is being unable to either find your way out or defend yourself inside, leading to prolonged exposure and no option other than to wait for a rescue that usually isn't coming. If you can protect yourself and have help for mapping and getting out, it's manageable for professionals. Unfortunately, it appears the police don't qualify (although they can certainly cordon off an affected area and help people who do manage to stumble out) and the military... I'm not sure. A nekomata literally is a cat. Not even a different species, a regular cat which has spiritually or demonically evolved (the difference isn't always clear in the appropriate context) into... that. I think if you're looking for work as a bear, construction is a reasonable choice. Probably just that simple.
Oh shit, the Nekomata Demo trailer; that sounds like Nyanners singing her rap song and it seems like it might actually be her too! That's neat. Also the construction workers talked about "Belobog?" Where Bronya at? Wonder what kind of crossovers we're gunna see from Star Rail...
I was already interested in the game but the more i see the more i love it. P.s If you are still taking recommendations i recommend checking out all the tekken 7 trailers for fun.
I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it and playing, the animations are insane. It's impressive how fluid everything looks? And thank you, I'll look into it! I definitely still have a ton of Tekken stuff to cover!
@@joshblackwell8632 It's ROUGH! 😂 At least we're done with P4 Golden, we have a Honkai Star Rail first time video coming up next week too! I'm having fun but its overhwleming for sure haha
Am I the only one who was kinda reminded of PGR (Punishing Gray Raven) based on the playstyle of the characters and over all game in general (well more so a lot of aspects of the game rather than the whole game but you get what I mean), no hate tho, hella excited for this game to come out tomorrow.
Congratulations, mihoyo, you made me want to play a gacha game. Now I need to buy a better laptop. Also, why does this game have better animations than any AAA title I've seen bar none?

Nah, what I did is more fun for me, what you're talking about would be boring for me so I'mma do my own thing. Also it allows me to connect with people who like stuff I like.

That’s super interesting, it definitely feels like a departure from other HoyoVerse games that way

Plus what nice is the other one always around, which I hear is a problem in other games.
I thought belle had blue hair

I agree on the animation for sure, I like the vibe too so I’m curious how it feels to actually play!
I love how the characters in zzz has so much personality
I feel that! The models eel super unique to each other and the animations go kinda crazy!
I'm gonna be so disappointed if Anby doesn't have a burger animation in game
Right?! 😂
Jacket pfp
Nicole's theme sounds a lot like Boss B**ch by Doja Cat, and I'm all for it

Basically, you play as a freelance drone operator / navigator.
It took me so long to understand what was going on with that through the trailers alone 😥
You should check out Wuthering Waves trailers if you haven't already
We will 🫡
