Mechanical keyboards are something that I’m fairly picky about - the experience of using one comes a lot down to personal preference, and while there are objectively good and bad features and designs, the subjective experience often overshadows those points. I’m generally not one for shaming anyone for their preferences, if you genuinely enjoy using a £10 membrane keyboard, then more power to ya. But this, the Ducky One 3 Mini… This is undeniably one of, if not the best mechanical keyboard I’ve used. It’s not jam-packed full of features like the Wooting Two, but as far as a premium quality everyday use board… This is just phenomenal.

Just bought a ducky one 3 TKL about 4 days before this video. I really enjoy it, setting up the macros is not the most intuitive but once you have them set, works like a charm. Not having to use Logitech's software to program macros on my old G810 is a huge plus in my book though. Thanks for the review!

Could you maybe tell me if anything changed with the minimum interval between keystrokes in macros? I can't set them short enough on my ducky one 2 series! Would love to know if that changed!

I have the Ducky One-2 65% and it's amazing. I'm running with Cherry MX Silent Reds and it's just butter. One of the best gaming purchases i've ever made, hands down.

I have had a ducky one for years. Best thing I ever purchased. Simply wonderful.

Good review for none keyboard nerds. Is so much better than the usual gaming keyboards and a great gateway to real keyboard nerdery.
I bought both the one3 so in daybreak and the match tkl in match, they feel so different because the daybreak is made from ore premium materials and with the rgb goodness - defo worth the extra few quid. One bit of advice I would give is to lube the stabilisers as a minimum (and you may as well clip them while you're at it). Makes the whole typing experience feel smoother.
    Keep up the great work

ew keep your "nerdery" would personally like to be able to buy a decent keyboard all built but seems like the market caters to you nerdy mfs putting lube on your keys instead.

Last keyboard I bought was a Corsair K95 & I absolutely hate it - shoddy manufacturing for a supposedly premium product ... the keycaps don't stay put which, for the price, says a lot. It replaced a Gigabyte Aivia Osmium which I liked but it just simply died on me - problem, I think, with the cable connection to the main board. Think I'll give Ducky a look-see.

Hey! Good video but just a piece of advice, Cherry switches are removed with the switch puller in the north-south position not the east-west position. You'll see tabs that you are supposed to depress. This will make pulling these switches much easier to pull without damaging them. Ive destroyed Gateron switches doing it the way shown in the video. Its such a heartbreaking feeling. Thanks for the video!!!

I don't care about the key switches in fact I use Scissor keys, which I know a lot of people hate, but I like them.
The problem I have which I hate is a wireless keyboard that for no apparent reason whatsoever misses out on letters when typing or just freezes for 5 seconds before registering the key press.

Anyone know how to lock the F1-12 keys on this board? I’ve tried DIP 1 fn+#~ (f1-12) but doesn’t seem to work for me. Doing my head in
