Thank you so much for interviewing this man. I admire him and what he’s been through. Respect. Talent for miles aswell. Love you Michael, thanks for getting me through highschool and college. I dropped out but you still got me through it :)
I get there was a lot of pressure, but with that pressure - Issues played really incredible live performances. Some bands really don't show up live with respect to music quality.
@idobi , is it possible to get out to Michael Bohn about the myriad of controversies and issues (no pun intended here if that's perceived) that have surrounded DistroKid? There have been some serious horror stories of many people being outright scammed by them and a variety of shady decisions made by them. I'd hope that he and the band have well researched them but given everything surrounding them I'd like to know if they are completely aware of everything. I'd at least be highly skeptical about them as a distribution method. I've followed Michael since Number[s], saw Woe, Is Me live at Warped Tour, and it still remains one of my favorite experiences at a live show, all I want is the best for the guy, and hearing them working with DistroKid leaves me at the very least concerned. Amazing Interview!
I've always loved listening to Michael and Tyler since Woe is Me and there time in Issues was awesome.......Issues messed up doing that to Michael. Haven't listened to any of their new stuff. Glad Michael putting out music again.
After they kicked him out claiming that stupid excuse of "The guy didn't want to improve" when he was managing to nail higher notes than Carter and improving his screamings, i don't want my boy Michael to be with those guys anymore. Love their music, but they all were just jerks firing Michael bc yes and hiding the mistakes of Tyler Carter for years until now.
@@CamAnd13 No disrespect to the guys, but if my singer was the main reason why my band was liked by many I think I would close one eye. Deep down I'll be sick and my integrity is compromised but hey it keeps the money rolling. Unless there's another good looking R&B/metalcore singer up for grabs. Oh and I definitely wouldn't kick out my screamer. Not sure how close they were, but surely there was a way to convince him to "improve himself" and stay?
I wish tyler and michael would get back in a band but it will never happen 2020 sucked ass, Issues was the last thing I thought 2020 couldn't take from me, 2021 is going to be worse. No other band can fill the void for me, oh well
Wait... he’s a great singer! How the fuck they gonna fire him. They fucked up. Now they’re completely out of vocalists. Issues really made a dumb move. Then again, I like his singing a lot more. Maybe this was for the best! Best wishes to you, Mike.
Naw. It’s just different but every album has been way different than the last. Everyone always knew it was coming. I‘m glad we have two great bands now. It made me super sad to hear the news when it happened tho.
The variety that Michael vocals gave to Issues on the Headspace era was just perfect. AJ is fine, but, the band ain't a little bit of metalcore anymore, well, they actually don't have any singer now, so they aren't nothing right now lol
Awesome interview!
Sup Nik
hey nik
Yea it is!
It's honestly awesome that Michael's back behind the mic. Can't wait for more.
So stoked about this too! Hope you enjoyed the chat :)
And now with this Woe is Me reunion too? I'm so ready.

been listening to michael since a path less traveled, awesome vocalist
The man 🔥🔥🔥🔥
And his new music is so good!!

Good to see this video even though I'm two years late lol keep on rockin Mikey!!
I used the see this dude in CVS by the Seven Venue in ATL all the heckin time

such a solid dude

Their new stuff is their best to date tbh
Got recommended this after hearing about Tyler Carter and honestly...I want him back in issues...could be wishful thinking but...I can dream
Would be cool
Well....As I thought all along, and now it would be perfect, Michael should go back to Issues!
I think that would be bloody brilliant!
Kinda sucks wildheart didn’t pan out longer I would’ve liked to see more of him behind a kit but I love him as a vocalist
Anyone else hoping that since Tyler Carter is no longer apart of ISSUES Michael will come back?
Won’t happen good thought tho!
Don’t think that’s remotely possible but I’ve been hoping for it!

@@CamAnd13 idk, fuck issues lol.all I got to say. My boy Michael deserves the best

Fucking hell, Nick Major, that's a name I have not heard in years lmao
i feel like issues should bring micheal back
And now Tyler is out too 😥
Issues is weird without Michael. It’s just a hip hop band now. It’s awkward.
Agreed the formula of the first Ep And album were best

Michael could return to Issues. Or Issues will get an amazing new singer
@@davesmusicchannel3590 thanks for giving me hope, but I just don't see it happening

Imagine if they bring Michael back haha. I figure it was mainly Tyler who kicked him out anyway
It's not perfect if there's no fun, and at that point, your chasing an impossible errand
I never realized how shitty it sounds to kick someone out of a band unexpectedly with that person having no plan.
Yepppp and someone they’ve known/played with for like a decade
Let’s be honest......since Michael left Issues......they suck now
yeah theres a massive emptiness in the music now.

yeah, but I hope he ditches the hat
