- This series of videos is all about my experience inside the Milan Art Institute Art Mastery Programme. In this video, I talk about the first month inside the course; how it’s structured, and I show some of the work I’ve created so far.
At the end of this video I’m also going to talk a little bit about other artists on TH-cam talking about the course. If you want to hear that, do stay till the end. I love watching this artist talk about her TH-cam experience, because I think she’s finished the course and doesn’t sugar coat how challenging it can be once the course is over! Please show her page some love! / @carlyjeanart .

Hello! I am also enrolled in the Milan Art Mastery Program. I just completed Part 1 and am ready for the mixed media section. I love your artwork, beautiful pieces. I look forward to seeing more.
Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind comment :-)). I will try and find you inside the course and follow you :-)) x
I’ve been circling the Milan Art Institute for some time now, but goodness that’s a lot of money (even though I believe their knowledge is that valuable) just can’t shake the shock of it all! Love this video, thank you for sharing!
Yes I know what you mean, it is a whole of money! 🫤 I sweat every time payment day rolls around. I guess for me personally, it boils down to: am I deserving of that investment ? I.e. should I spend that money on my personal development in life, (because life is too short not to push for your passion if you have one)...or should I put it elsewhere. And then, can I pay it without it breaking me financially? So although it does make things very tight at the end of each month, for now at least I believe those two things to be true. X I hope that makes sense!
Hello 👋 I started paying the monthly installments in January but haven't actually started yet! This was intentional due to life stuff and wanted to get in there before the price increased 😅but can't wait to get stuck in! PS I've enjoyed the outstanding artist but definitely from the viewpoint of entertainment and I really liked all the girls involved
Hi there! Thank you for commenting, it's nice to meet you. Congratulations on your decision to sign up, it has been one of the best things I have done for my art career.
Well done for getting in there before the price increase ;-). It's so exciting inside the course! Yes I've enjoyed the Outstanding Artist, although it has made me see that most of the paintings produced are all in a similar sort of style, is that just me or you too? Come find me inside the course :-) x
@@gabriellevickeryart Definitely agree about the style factor and that's why I highlighted the "entertainment" factor above. To be honest, that was my little hesitation with the course. Outside of the show I can see graduates creating with a certain style. Milan are obviously creating their own brand but I guess ultimately if students are creating in this style, it's their choice!
Great job! Love your portraits. I’m slowly making my way through the course too!
How fabby, and thank you! i am now following you inside the course, see you on the inside :-))
I just finished week 3 and am into week 4. Fun to watch someone just a little ahead of me.
Hi there! Ah lovely you've probably caught up with me by now, I am SOOO slow at this! Come find me inside the course let's be friends :-))))
Yes I am Loving the course ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🏻🤗🤩👏🎉🎉 I am Super Happy and Grateful to absolutely everyone❤️❤️❤️
So glad!
The portrait is stunning.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment! 🥰
Great job by the way ❤️👏
Thank you! 😁
I think it will be also great to do a review of each week and overall section of the course... a year after you graduate.
That's actually a great idea, because it takes soo long to go through each section and then build a video for that section! Maybe per week would be better. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@gabriellevickeryart it alao gives time to discuss any problems with the course, if any of it was actually useful, problems with it, and if any of it is outdated for modern art as well as modern marketing.
@@HiThereHeyThereyes, agreed :-).
WOOOW!!! Hi I am milan Art student as well ! week 7! and LOOOVING it !!:) how do you like it ?
Week 7 well done you! I am loving it but finding it SO very hard to find time to be consistent. I'm doing a couple of hours a week because these videos take so much time to make lol! But I really enjoy making them so I'm considering them all a part of the art making process. I can do that can't I? lol! Are you loving the course? :-)
Thank yoy. Do you know of anyone who started as absolute beginner who also shared a video? I'd like to see some before and after pictures. All videos I've watched were from people that are clearly already experienced painters like you.
I'd like to give it a try but I'm a beginner and seeing everyone's beautiful art is putting me off even trying 😅
Thanks for your comment! I know exactly what you mean, I think that it's probably people with a little art experience who have the confidence and the wherewithal to make videos about their journey. But inside the course there is a wide range of experience from beginner to professional. If you have the money and the time to commit to a course like this, then it's a fantastic way to progress from beginner to intermediate and beyond. I can't think of a better way to supercharge your potential. :-)
@@gabriellevickeryart thank you. I definitely want to look into it when my son is a bit older
@@MagycArwenok Good luck and all the very best! :-) x
How do you sign your sign so cool? Pen or brush?
Thank you! I used a 'Rigger' brush because it's very long and thin. I painted the signature on bit by bit, not all at once, and I thinned the paint down slightly to make it move more smoothly. I also practiced on a spare bit of canvas before popping it onto my finished artwork. I hope that's helpful!
