Very helpful, I have a shure 57 that i have no idea where it came from or when i got it. I'm now convinced if you play music for any amount of time, a shure 57 just auto spawns in your closet.
One thing I always keep in my guitar bag is a leatherman. It's like having a whole set of tools with you. It can be a bit fiddly, but man it has really saved me on multiple occasions. Another tip: mark everything clearly so the stagehands don't accidentally steal those xlr cables and power bricks you brought. My former band put a piece of pink gaffer tape on everything, often with the band name written on it.
I really like your videos. Especially these personal kind of videos. It's so recognisable for musicians. I'm looking forward to your take on Kemper (I'm really into the digital stuff Kemper and Quad Cortex). Keep these videos coming!
I always kept my own bag of goodies for the gig, but we also had what we called the magic box in the trailer at all times which had most everything you would need

This is real. Not a 58--always a 57! I've never bought one for this very reason.
14:55 "...maybe i want to bring my bass player with me" deserved a 👍
Wait.... you're over 30?
You can't overstate the need for a towel! 😁🤘
The nail clippers are a must, maybe I'm just ocd but my nails on my fretting hand have to be perfect or else it bothers me
I actually have a drum key in mine! Drummers can be dull sometimes.
It's like they say: "If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape". 🧐
Speaking of nail clippers, have you seen dolly parton play acoustic while wearing long acrylic nails?? HOW!?
How about Charo
If I remember correctly, she plays in open tunings a lot which allows her to just barre frets. Still unbelievable with as long as they are.

String winder? Oh, bassist has one! 😉
All great stuff.
I include a First aid kit, and some basic first aid skills. Including a plan to call for an ambulance to avoid panic.
I've wanted to try an acoustasonic for a long time but man they are so expensive
you don’t have to buy one to try one, just go to Guitar Center and play one
I was waiting for this after your last video and I can't believe I can actually say first lmao
