The homestake mine had the gate closed and the road blocked most of 2021.
When they did open it they had bulldozed the area around the barricafe so you couldnt get in

I've been up there 17 times so far and have only seen like 2 does, a black bear and some quail. Pretty empty

I'm hoping the gas prices will reduce the madness a little. Scouting last year at Knoxville I saw a bunch of turkeys, come season opener it was still all turkeys, just these variety were all in camo
