A couple of tips that might help: Your suitcases fit under your bed. I hate not having my phone next to me at night as well, so I charge a back up battery during the day and use that to charge my phone at night.
So I see that this was your first Carnival cruise, for the record all the bathrooms look like yours, no tubs. Had a tub on my last Disney and nearly lost my life stepping out one time, I appreciate the walk-out for Carnival. Carnival recently switched to once a day service no matter your room type. I love Carnival and will be babymooning in an interior soon for the first time since we were married four cruises ago. My husband is dreading it, but he'll be fine. He's been spoiled with those overpriced balconies, he can't imagine what an interior will be like. I've stayed in an interior room in my single days with two other adult women, we worked it out just fine. I'd rather have my money. I stayed interior on Disney and thought it much better than my Disney balcony and by far the best interior of Royal, Carnival, and Disney. Thanks for the video.
We usually do balcony cabins. But we did cabin 9203 n love it. Going again in the same cabin in 23 days….. Interior price but had a window with a great view. N about 20 steps to get outside on the deck out front.

I'm with Nick I want options!! If there's a wall of fire behind me I'm going to monkey climb the outside of the ship!! I require a balcony thank you!!
SEE?! Just because you want to escape via the balcony doesn't mean you want to abandon ship. That's just nonsensical. - Nick

Awesome!
What month did you sail? ❤
Basically, if you are a "I just need a place to lay my head at night" kind of traveler, you could do worse than an interior cabin ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That is definitely true!
