Thanksgiving with my blended family🥰🦃

I think I like this little life I’ve made🥰

As I get older & the holidays come around sometimes I get a little sad things can’t be the way they used to 🥹 but that’s the beauty in life. We have moments that last a lifetime in our hearts, and that’s so beautiful to me.
As a kid my siblings & I would wake up before the crack of dawn, rush to the tree amazed & in awe by the beauty of the lights shimmering bright all over the goodies Santa left us. Checking to see if Santa ate the cookies & milk, then running to wake up our parents! 🥰
As a teen I got excited watching my little siblings continue that tradition but I instead watched & admired them, taking in everything around me & GIVING instead of receiving 🥰 Helping my parents continue making the magic of Christmas & keeping Santa alive in my siblings little hearts 🫶🏼
Fast forward to now, the present. I turn 25 this year (in 12 days to be exact!🎂) & my traditions have changed since beginning my adult life. I now wake up to my own magical vibes that me & my bf create with our little fur/aqua babies 😻🐢 We will make new traditions of our own & I am hereee for it! Later in the day I head over to my parents house where I get to spend time with them as well 🫶🏼 it all comes full circle 🥰🎄
Life may be hard, it changes before you are even aware sometimes. It challenges you & pushes you out of your comfort zone. It is also beautiful & full of love and wonderful memories that will make you feel warm for lifetimes. The holidays always remind me to stop, breath & take in my surroundings. If you allow it, life will flash by you & you blink and you’re old and gray. Wishing you took in those little moments a little more. Shared memories with those special people a little more.
I want all of you to take a moment and really see what you have, admire the roof over your head. The food, stocked fridge or not, be thankful you have food that night. Reach out to your loved ones, remind them how much they mean to you. Look at what people do for you more so than trying to pick out what they don’t do. It’s all about your mindset.
