I don't know mine was not bad my teeth were straight but my top teeth were way in front of my bottom teeth and it made my jaw look ugly but I cut a straw and put in in my mouth to keep in place and it's gotten better

I have had an overbite for a long time and I get called lots of names like Buck Tooth, Gurda Rat, Bunny rabbit, and things like that. About 6 months ago, I was offered braces for my overbite from my dentist. I was a bit younger and he said I would have to have 4 teeth removed in order to put in the braces. I refused the offer because I didn’t like the sound of having teeth removed. Hopefully I change my mind when I’m older

I have overbite so bad since I was a baby I cannot close my mouth, I could but it is forcing so I would rather keep my mouth open....got spacers, retainers(twice, the first time was top and bottom while second time was just bottom), expanders, braces(currently wearing them for 2nd time, getting them off next year), forsus springs, 2 teeth pulled, progress is slowly being made, last year I could finally close my mouth, but like I said earlier I would rather keep my mouth open because I have to force my mouth to be closed. This is my journey still going👍 My first crush was in 3rd grade he was a dentist's son and we sat across from each other I would play with my retainers and tease him he would always tell me stop playing(but he would smile and laugh). Ivy Mulhern Yeah, that probably is because I have an extreme overbite and have braces for it, but usually if it’s bad enough that you can’t see your bottom teeth then your top teeth can’t protect your jaw as well as it could if it were straighter.
My dentist said I have a good bite but my old dentist said I have a 50% overbite and my recent dentist said I just need top braces to close my gap but since I have thick gums they can’t close my gap fully
it would be around $5400 . bc you need to pay for an expander to get your teeth to be a normal overbite and get your teeth straight using braces . You will need poweer chains and an elastic on your braces .
you will need an expander for about 2-3 months depending on how bad it is . I went to the orthondontist today and they said that I needed it for a week so I can get braces ! 😘 you will be fine . the expander doesn’t take long to put in your teeth . Same with taking it out .

I just wanted to know what @The Look Orthodontics has to say topic as someone who's profession is fixing teeth. I agree that there really is no hard evidence that proves that orthotropics work because it was just a few months ago since orthotropics went viral, but even so it doesn't mean that it will or will not work. A question was asked because I wanted to know what either side thinks of the other. I think that there is really no reason for mean comments in this comment section. Just because it's on the Internet it doesn't mean it's true. That said even if orthotropics don't work on already mature people I think that parents should teach their small kids about proper tongue posture in order for their teeth to grow properly since head develops until the age of 9.
I’m getting my Over bite fixed with braces and it’s so pain full I have like these springs in my mouth and I can’t eat right because I can’t bite down on my food all the way and the springs get in my way , it’s super annoying but I guess at the end of the day it’s worth it

An easier diy way to check if you think you have an overbite is by closing your teeth, use your thumb, with the nail facing your bottom teeth, now try and see if your able to fit in any bit of your thumb up in between your top set of teeth.
Yes they may request to extinct some of ur teeth if ur teeth aint straight, but if its for ur overbite then i guess no need, and yes it will change yr face cuz the impact will go to ur jawlines so they will be more defined (dont worry ur face will look even better once ur teeth suck in)

you will need an expander for about 2-3 months depending on how bad it is . I went to the orthondontist today and they said that I needed it for a week so I can get braces ! 😘 you will be fine . the expander doesn’t take long to put in your teeth . Same with taking it out .

I just wanted to know what @The Look Orthodontics has to say topic as someone who's profession is fixing teeth. I agree that there really is no hard evidence that proves that orthotropics work because it was just a few months ago since orthotropics went viral, but even so it doesn't mean that it will or will not work. A question was asked because I wanted to know what either side thinks of the other. I think that there is really no reason for mean comments in this comment section. Just because it's on the Internet it doesn't mean it's true. That said even if orthotropics don't work on already mature people I think that parents should teach their small kids about proper tongue posture in order for their teeth to grow properly since head develops until the age of 9.

Over bite fixed with braces and it’s so pain full I have like these springs in my mouth and I can’t eat right because I can’t bite down on my food all the way and the springs get in my way , it’s super annoying but I guess at the end of the day it’s worth it

An easier diy way to check if you think you have an overbite is by closing your teeth, use your thumb, with the nail facing your bottom teeth, now try and see if your able to fit in any bit of your thumb up in between your top set of teeth.

Yes they may request to extinct some of ur teeth if ur teeth aint straight, but if its for ur overbite then i guess no need, and yes it will change yr face cuz the impact will go to ur jawlines so they will be more defined (dont worry ur face will look even better once ur teeth suck in)
