I'm really happy with how this song turned out, hope you guys enjoy the song! Shoutouts to Henry Marks, Greatlord Shadow, @THeRotom479, upsilon wolf, Leif Eriksson, Taislinmaosdela, @Bomber91301, and The Monster Hunter for requesting this amazing tune!
This is absolutely incredible! Nice job! Also, I'd like to request that you jazz-ify "Dialga's Fight to the Finish" from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. Absolutely incredible song, and one that I think would turn out great under your guidance!
I agree with you, it's really good! If you remember me from your last video I can tell you this arrangement is a lot better and well polished. Thank you very much for you work and I am waiting for your next arrangement. (Also I know it's hard but I would be happy to hear you arrangements with a real doublebass and also with a real piano, but it probably won't happen because finding good bass players is really hard)
I was so hype after hearing this on instagram, the first the I thought of this morning was, "oh shoot, the new insaneintherain song is out. gotta watch it a soon as I can." great job on the song man.
I played this for my English teacher and he played it on loop in class for the rest of the day. Rest of the class didn't believe me when I said it was from a game. It's amazing how many people still think all video game music tracks are 8-bit. Great piece man, keep on feeling it
A lot of people think that video game music is just 8-bit stuff, yeah. One of my goals is totally prove people wrong, and I think you've just helped me do so ;)
I love this and Auden knocked it out again! Already said this but, the mixture of latin to big-band and swing is fantastic and easily one of the best blends you've done yet.
What is it thats playing here? The motif (or whatever its called) sounds really familiar but I cant place my finger on it, its not from xenoblade is it?
This is the most chill version of Gaur Plains I have ever heard. It made me subscribe a while back, and I will forever listen to it. You've got so much talent!
Sir Carlos, you NEED to do more Xenoblade! The music really fits your style a lot. I personally recommend "unfinished battle", "Snowy Valak Mountain(night)", and "Imperial Capital Agniritha". However, there are many others to choose from :) I really enjoyed your rendition of this, you really were able to portray the same feelings I felt when listening to the original: Euphoria, wonder, and adventure. Also, great job to Auden, he really performed nicely. Keep it up as always!
Does your son watch you play Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition or something like that? Or does he just know gaur plains from Smash Ultimate and play Shulk alot?
I discovered this channel yesterday. I was in a Pokemon mood after having recently completing the Crown Tundra DLC for Sword/Shield. I listened to your incredible backlog of expertly done renditions of all my favorites from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. My favorite was Snowpoint City, it was an absolutely breathtaking experience. After a little while, I just put your channel on my TV in the living room and just hung out in there for 6 hours watching your videos while playing Magic online. Xenoblade Chronicles has got to be my favorite video game of all time. It's so incredible and this video so perfectly captures the mood and feel of a sick jazz bar tavern at the edge of Gaur Plains 20 years after Shulk has saved the Bionis. Shulk visits there occasionally to enjoy a drink and listen to your jazz and this is what plays. It's so perfect. Keep up this absolutely brilliant work, it is gorgeous and really lit up my entire day when I found this channel yesterday. How I had not seen you before, I do not know, but I am super hyped to go through all you've uploaded and enjoy my journey. -a new subscriber

Amazing rendition of this track. This has to be the best version of this song I've ever heard. I am definitely going to subscribe. Keep up the great work, man. :)
insaneintherainmusic Been listening to your jazz covers for the past hour, they're all amazing! You should definitely make more Xenoblade arrangements :)
Oh man, you know how to pick songs from games with amazing soundtracks! I still say the only thing missing from your repetoire is some Bravely Default/Bravely Second!
7:27 Looks like was trying to end the song with a quiet reprise of the intro, but got surprised when you go in for another 8 bars. Either way he must've really been feeling something.
Yep, I figured that one out! I'm listening to it right now and I'm really loving it... my roommate is a killing metal guitarist, so it'd be awesome to collaborate with him on this!
What I think is the best about this channel, is not only how authentic you make the transition from video game soundtrack to jazz, but how you are expanding peoples ears when it comes to music. Thank you for proving me with a great way to warm up. You are a very talented musician and I cannot express how much joy your covers bring me. From Zelda to Fire Emblem and now Xeno, you've tackled pieces from some of my favorite game series and allowed me to enjoy and appreciate these tracks in a new light.
