I was able to win the Mr. Ireland bodybuilding championships then went on to compete many times in the Mr. American. My poor upbringing thought me to climb as high as I can as I know what’s it like to be at th bottom . Over 39 yrs later I’m stlll in California . Fond memories of Limerick

I always thought that Limerick in some ways has a more 'urban' vibe (in the best sense) than my own hometown of Cork, even; and certainly more than Galway, which (I'm generalizing here, obviously) I've always found to be a little bit 'up itself'.
I also grew up in the slums of Limerick very oppressed I went to London got educated became a nurse got married and went to live in Japan Japan is my home in spite of a deprived oppressive upbringing I've had a great life my family live in Limerick I never hear from them and when I visit I'm not wanted there I have no desire to ever go back there 😢 For people who live in such small narrow thinking
No scum, no drugheads no homeless on streets anywhere in Ireland! You'd get a kick up the hole by anyone and everyone back then if causing trouble and drugheads would be locked up in an asylum until clean. . 👈
