WooooWww! Such a wonderful, very beautiful series. I spent 3 days to finish from beginning till the end. My heart felt happy when all the characters of Zi Xuan, Bayo yo, Qi Xiao and the Mountain Queen are happy and I kept crying because of the characters struggles, heart aches, triumphs and all about them are definitely and extremely exciting and they are all good-looking. Especially the Handsome Emperor. And the ending, awesome, such a sad but story but very beautiful in the ending. The costumes, the props, the whole production, I think,it's great. It's about religion or belief, it was treated well. Am very thankful that I saw this great movie and a masterpiece. As you can see her sadness in the end, she knew he couldn’t stay anymore and that this is the last reincarnation for him, they will never see each other again

This ending suits me 1000x's better than the other one. I am glad they did this alternative one. I know the stories of 'The White Snake' always end in, were one is separated from the other for the rest of eternity but the way this series played out you just wanted Xu Xuan and Bai Yao Yao to really get their happiness. They went through so much, it needed to happen. I am so glad they ended up doing this alternate version. I never cried for two fictional characters as much as I did in the original ending. So thank you!! If this show ever gets put to DVD this alternate ending better be on there too. I loved this series so much. Ren Jialun and Yang Zi did an outstanding job.

@@beatrizgallano7940 sorry to break it to you but xu xuan died in the end lol he gave her his celestial root to heal her broken spirit bead, and absorbed all the demons from the tower into himself and impaled himself with the sword, that was the end of him. At the bridge he used up the last bit of his breath to keep the promise of meeting her there. As you can see her sadness in the end, she knew he couldn’t stay anymore and that this is the last reincarnation for him, they will never see each other again

This ending suits me 1000x's better than the other one. I am glad they did this alternative one. I know the stories of 'The White Snake' always end in, were one is separated from the other for the rest of eternity but the way this series played out you just wanted Xu Xuan and Bai Yao Yao to really get their happiness. They went through so much, it needed to happen. I am so glad they ended up doing this alternate version. I never cried for two fictional characters as much as I did in the original ending. So thank you!!
If this show ever gets put to DVD this alternate ending better be on there too.
I loved this series so much. Ren Jialun and Yang Zi did an outstanding job.
