In this video, I will show how I print with С41 film, I will talk about problems with the thermostat and the temperature controller on Jobo CPE2+ mode, I will show a couple of tricks with water that I came up with - บันเทิง
I don't know why, but I found this video extremely satisfying.
I was looking for the Adox film and your video came up, I watched it all without really understanding how the process is. And the video relaxed me in a way I can't explain.
I think that if this video was only with ambient sound, without narration, I would use it to sleep like ASMR. 😂
Hehe, thx, enjoy 😉
I use the RA4 from Bellini. Opened for more than 9 months and works pretty well. The CD is bicomponent. Use use too a black and white film for focus the enlarger. It’s easier.
I prefer to stick with Tetenal for now, i think i’ll buy only good stuff from now on
Great video! Appreciate you making such a lot of and good content about RA4, there is no one else out there doing as much RA4 as you are! Also, what easel do you use? Which brand? I have been dying to get similar borders with my two bald 8x10 Accura, but it's not as adjustable enough for me to fit the whole 35mm frame.
Thx for support, it’s LPL easels for different sizes of paper, i have two for 15x15 i think and 25x25 - maximum size what i can develop and print on the table and not on the wall
In order to make the developer last longer, you could pre-wash the paper, around 30s is enough, and you will see the blueish-colored water coming out (that's the anti-halation layer from the paper) which over time exhausts your developer.
Where is zero difference in doings this in my volumes. Liquid retention is bigger then lifetime pf the developer, so i don’t have it anymore in the bottle before it exhausts. And as i know paper doesn’t have any anti-halation layers
Thank you. I don't understand the cyan .. or what it does . It always says keep at 0 . and just use magenta and yellow . Maybe you could do a video just about how cyan effects the print. Keep up the good work. and hope you have a lovely new year.
Sometimes it’s just simpler to move only one filter and theoretically it’s more precise, rake a look on previous videos how enlarger head works. Cyan filter it’s a sum pf magenta and yellow, you can use pair or one filter as you wish. You can also print with 60/60/60 and filter turn on from behind enlarger, in general it can give more precise control in any direction. Happy new year 🥳
Cyan was used when printing reversal (Slide) positive prints / Cibachrome, without one of the other colors (I forget which...). Reversal color paper & process is no longer available / no longer used.
@@maf421 Thank you for taking the time to reply . I totally forgot about Chrome. I process all my own film at home. C41 E6 and do vision 3 in C41 removing the rem jet my self.
I spent 3 days trying to make a bed room in to a dark room. it worked well for B&W .
But I wanted to do Colour if only once in my life.
so after only making about 15 B&W prints I got the Adox Kit £20 in the UK. I had a go and in one day I made My first print. it was a bit Yellow. Well the grass needed more green .. it looked like Kodak Gold . so I was so pleased I had a go..
Happy New Year and thanks for your help and kindness .
Aleksander, I tried to contact you by email but didn't work. I own a lab with a darkroom and I would like to have a word with you! Thanks
