Actually you can locate the hidden blocks by looking at the map and hovering over spaces to see if your controller vibrates, so when the computer customs on to hidden blocks theyre simulating the fact that human players can find them too

Little thing that I don’t think many people know, when you land on a standard blue space, listen carefully to the sound that’s made. If the sound is the same as when you’d land on something like a lucky, event, or Bowser space, that means a hidden block will appear.

My npcs do the same thing and peach is always the worst so me and my cousins made something where we yell "stupid peach" whenever she gets advantages.
On higher difficulties in Mario Party Superstars, CPU players may cheat by using Custom Dice Blocks to land precisely on spaces with hidden blocks, despite this knowledge being supposedly secret from all players.

I think something similar happened to me in Mario Party 4 recently! I mean, 4 doesn't have any items were you get to pick the exact space you land on, but you can use mini mushrooms to roll low and have a higher chance of landing on a space you want that's within 5 spaces of you, and I kept noticing the CPUs using mini mushrooms in random parts of the board where there was nothing to land on. No mini gates to take alternate paths, no happening or even mushroom spaces to land on, no mini board event minigames, just randomly stretches of blue spaces. And then at least one time, but I think maybe even a few other times and I just wasn't keeping track, the CPU got a hidden block while rolling low with a mini shroom in the random empty areas of the board, the one time I definitely remember actually had a star! Because I was playing story mode and was absolutely destroying the CPUs, with literally every single star in that game and they had none, and I was all cocky like "Yeah, I have every star! Oh, you're using a mini shroom there? What are you even *trying* to do?? O-oh, a hidden block... O-oh... A-a star... wow ok..." I still easily won, but still, that felt pretty odd

Very Hard: Ok You’re Definitely Cheating
Yes, they do depending on the difficulty CPU's will cheat on master/harder difficulty, and different characters will use different cheats. Peach knows where the hidden blocks are. Daisy has increased "luck." And Rosalina is a mix of Peach and Daisy. I don't know about the rest of the characters
As the hidden block, I can confirm
Hidden blocks have set spawn locations,so the game lets the cpu know that
Pretty fair since the player may also look up where the hidden blocks are
Yes, I've seen it with luck based minigames and things like getting an item bag on lucky spaces
Yeah it also happens in Mario kart, they get far better items and are selected to be extremely 'good' or extremely bad before the match.
I think they do. I played Mario Party Superstars last night and the CPU kept getting hidden blocks.

For me, it’s apparent in MP 6, 7, and 8. But very apparent in 7.
*pushes reset*
I have tried landing on spaces that I noticed haven't been landed on in hopes of getting a hidden block. It works sometimes! You also need to take into account how many hidden blocks were found. If there are only 2 or 3 normal blue spaces that have not been landed on AND no hidden blocks have been found the odds are way high you will get one
Weird maybe the blocks only spawn on certain spots on each map?
Yep
On Mario party a while on mini games one cpu kept winning
Because they are better at the game than you are? Just because something wins does not always mean they are cheating.

CPUs do this to get to a space that has a hidden block. I have the manual for the game and I had to tear a page in 2 just to find it as the page it's on got stuck to another page
Apparently a few other TH-camrs have had the same thing happen too. If a CPU has a Custom Block they will always go towards the Hidden Block.
Ayo it’s the Goku guy 🤨
Yes. The answer is always yes.
Also cps:
Use custom dice to rol on a red space
There's also certain minigames I call bs. The sleeping ChainChomp one is very suspicious.
For that mini game, just know that the bubble will only burst when it's at its largest. That takes a lot of the guesswork out of it and I have never lost in that minigame since
I believe if you are playing with a cpu in any game they are just letting you win and then give themselves a insane luck boost
I have proof for the CPUs cheating in Mario Party 10, specifically the Bowser Party Mode.
(This was done with Easy CPUs)
I played as the Party and as Bowser and I noticed something.
Whenever I was Bowser, the CPUs rolled ridiculously high and we’re able to completely leave my reach in most cases with 6s and 5s galore.
But the moment I join the Party, they’re only able to roll 2s and 3s while the Bowser began to roll 5s and 6s.
And that was with EASY CPUs, imagine how impossible being against a Master CPU Party would be. Or against a Master Bowser, even with Master CPUs on your side.
While playing MP1 on Switch Online, I found out through save states that turns are predetermined when they start. What this means is that the game already decides what will happen (what items you get, how many spaces you move, etc.), and you have little to no say in what will happen next.
What I've also gathered (or, more accurately, assumed), is that the CPUs definitely know this pattern and take advantage of the several branching paths.
That is so unfair, even if they are programmed to target random blue spaces looking for hidden blocks that is such a specifically evil strategy to put into them
Hey there antohyoliver i see u on every video, Mario and pikmin. How do you do that,i subbed to you,i am your biggest fan❤

SLOW DOWN, NERD!
Most of the time my CPUs just custom to the dumbest spaces possible.
3 spaces from the star? Nah, let’s custom to the event space and get sent way back
Fun fact: games like Mario kart also do this. In the original l, each racer was assigned a specific position and speed to go at. You had 3 very slow, 1 slow, 2 fast and one very fast. The challenge of the game was to be 1st, however the cpus are coded to keep there place, meaning in the game, the cpus will do anything in there power to get you knocked out of first, including using powerups and rubber banding
I was playing mario party 2 when in the first round a cpu peache rolled a 1 and got a star, IT WAS LITERALLY THE FIRST TURN OF THE GAME
I love that smug Daisy render lol
I'm sorry, but daisy looking down on me like that is gonna make me go feral
I noticed the same thing on Mario kart lol when you’re playing against CPU’s there’s normally 1 or 2 of them that will give you more competition than the rest of the CPU’s. During a race I remember Wario was the one that was giving me the competition and right before I crossed the finish line I hit him with a bomb I clearly saw 3 other racers pass him right before I got to the finish line, yet when the results for the race came out he came out as 2nd!
There is the fact that hidden blocks are a process of elimination. When someone lands on a blue space and no hidden block appears, mark it off and it slowly lets you know which blue space will have it and then it is reset to all blue spaces having a chance.
So I don't suck at Mario Party against CPUs...
Bro that happened to me three times per round and two of them were a star 💀. Whats even worse is the CPU was already in first place so he got two free stars. I lost that game horribly
Funny thing mario party algorithm only allows 1 hidden block on the board at a time and only on blue spaces the cpus depending on their difficulty will know those locations even though you won't be able to and if given to will purposely Land on those spaces
That image of daisy laughing in a vaguely sadistic way does things for me
Daisy: “we didn’t cheat, we just have amazing gaming chairs.”
I believe only the Master CPUs have this trait. All other difficulties cant see hidden blocks
I've seen 1 CPU Cheat a 30 on a triple dice roll when normally that never happens when i play an online board game!
The voices dont atop
"It was just a COINicidence"
Daisy's laugh is so slay
Cpus in mario switch games are all like this, basically have all it takes to be a TAS bot but purposely nerf themselves to seem human
It depends on the difficulty they're on
LOL That thumbnail of that smug smile Daisy is making!
in the original party games it seemed like in the last five turns when the CPU got picked to win they would get a lot of good luck and difficulty in mini games increased
I also know one. In my time watching the party crashers, its always daisy who gets the 'last 5 turns' bonus 9 out of the 10 times
They're programmed to find a reasonable route to win, so this would make sense. And they're internal to the game so they can see hidden variables.
Who expected Mario and Daisy would mate?
Bro became poofesure 💀
If any of the cpu's get picked for the reward it will always be better then if a player were to be picked.
Example: say a cpu gets picked either boo bell or chomp call. Lets say a player gets picked they get a few coins
These are the repercussions of modern day AI advancements 🛐🙏🏽
maybe the "C" in CPU stands for Cheats
I would ask the same thing about Mario Kart 8 cpus in 200cc Grand Prix…..
"THAT'S BULLSH-" Nintendo GameCube sound
My brother and I were playing Super Mario Party, when the Rosalina NPC kept getting stars landing in front of her or somewhere she was closest to. We both joked that she "paid" off Toad to win
In the words of Jake Peralta "Wario cheats!!"
I've seen CPUs in older Mario Party Games do something like this too! They'll go the *wrong* way; further from the Star, but when they do they usually land on a Space with a Hidden Block that contains a Star! 😓
Yes they f**king do
"Do Mario Party CPUs... cheat?"
"Si 🙂👍"
My Rosa custome blocked to a spot got a lucky block, it was a star, and next round she used the reveal lucky block getting another star (From 1 Experience, all blocks hold the same amount so if you land on one and have the thing to let you reveal do it but the amount changed game to game)
Man I remember proving this with the Wii U by making save states and rebooting the console. It's crazy how long it took everyone to find this out lol
I once saw a cpu use a triple dice and get a TRIPLE TEN, this game is complete bs
