The song is called "Blooming Day" so the flowers are part of the theme, but fan theories also point to the fact that flowers play a prominent role in EXO's storyline as well. In the majority of EXO's MVs, and even in some of their live performances, you see flowers. It is thought that EXO may be collecting flowers because they will help them in their quest or they want to prevent the Red Force from using the flowers for evil. What you see them blending up is thought to be the flowers. If you remember, in EXOs "Love Me Right" MV you also see Xiumin mixing a potion of some kind and that is also thought to be made of flowers, so we think this is somehow connected to the purple liquid you see him mixing in "Blooming Day" -- although I am still not sure what the potion will be used for. Also, if you notice, the liquid is purple, and usually when you see purple this represents an instance where the line between the Red Force and EXO are blurred -- red represents the Red Force and Blue represents EXO -- red and blue mixed together make purple. Some theories think that maybe Xiumin and Baekhyun are suspicious of Chen and that is why they seem to be trying to stop him from leaving or doing whatever he is trying to do. For instance, you see Baekhyun with the slingshot hit Chen in the back of the head with a marble which looks as though he is trying to stop or prevent Chen from doing something. Some think maybe Chen is a spy that has been brainwashed by the Red Force -- or maybe he is his evil X-EXO clone -- and Xiumin and Baekhyun are starting to suspect him. But, others think that maybe it's Chen who is the good guy and Xiumin and Baekhyun are acting as pawns in the Red Forces' game. However, my theory is that it is more likely that Baekhyun is the one with good intentions, because as evidenced in "Power," "Tempo," "Love Shot," and "Monster", etc. it looks as though Baekhyun may have been one of the members who has been able to avoid being controlled by the Red Force. We see Baekhyun singled out and involved in efforts to help EXO in multiple situations throughout EXO's storyline. You also see Xiumin with a key, and some theories say that is the key to unlock the door to another dimension or to release them from this room they are trapped in. It is thought that EXO are traveling through time periods and between dimensions in their search for the Tree of Life. And as part of their mission, they are also trying to fix and prevent the Red Force from corrupting humanity and destroying the planet. So, because of this, the Red Force is trying to prevent EXO from being able to accomplish their goals by trapping them or controlling them or putting roadblocks in their way, etc. In "Blooming Day" CBX also could be trapped in another room within the Red Forces' maze like we see in EXO's "Overdose," "Lucky One," and "For Life" MVs, etc. And they are all slowly coming out of the fog that the Red Force put them in which allowed them to be captured in the first place. If you notice, the room that they are in in "Blooming Day" is pure white (the colors you see are created by colored lights, not paint), and some theories think that white rooms are an indication that EXO are starting to gain back control. In the beginning in EXO's "Overdose" MV, we see that the maze is dark and grey and the members are unable to fight back because the Red Force has done something to dull their senses and cloud their minds. However, throughout their MVs you start to see EXO fighting back and conquering obstacles as the rooms and environments go from grey to white. So, Baekhyun hitting Chen in the head with the marble, could also be his way of knocking some sense into Chen and bringing him out of the fog the Red Force has had them trapped in. The cat that you see in this MV is also an important part of EXO's storyline. At different times a cat is thought to represent EXO-Ls or the heart of the Tree of Life. Remember how the cat represented the fans in "Power"? So it makes sense that the cat would have a place of honor in EXO's story, whether it represents us fans or the Tree of Life. Fun fact: Did you notice how EXO-CBX has 6 backup dancers? With CBX there are always 6 backup dancers because 9 is a good number when it comes to formations in choreography, but fans think it's also supposed to mirror the fact that as members of EXO, even as a sub-unit, they are still part of the main group. EXO's main group has 9 members so, the 6 backup dancers are supposed to be a visual representation of the rest of the members of EXO. EXO-CBX was EXO's first sub-sub-unit and some think that SM wanted to create a way to make it clear that just because they are a sub-unit doesn't mean that they aren't still connected to everything that makes them EXO. As you may know, CBX was formed because at the time Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin were the only members who didn't have any side projects. They were all in the gym working out together discussing what they should do while everyone else was working on other things, and their trainer suggested they form a sub-unit. So they took the idea to the company and SM agreed that they would make a good unit. Plus, CBX gives SM a chance to bring EXO more fully into the Japanese market. CBX focuses on the Korean and Japanese market. They are one of SM's most popular sub-units and they are so popular that they have held their own concert tour with just their sub-unit. I had a rough year during 2019, and I fell behind on a lot of music. Theres albums I have that I've still not listened to in full, because I don't have the TIME. And now with covid and school, I don't have the energy. Everyone has different circumstances, and everyone has the right to know or not to know certain songs/artists. It doesn't disqualify me as a kpop fan if I don't know a really popular group. And it doesn't disqualify thina as a 1st/2nd gen kpop stan just because she didn't get the chance to hear all the songs that came out at the time.
I always appreciate the opportunity that cbx gave the three of them to further develop their talents, Xiumin with his vocals and for Chen and Baekhyun their great skills for dancing, I think it helped that the three of them are almost equal in height, so the choreographies are made to their style and looks amazing, the timing, the movements, everything
This is EXO's cleanest and most smoothest dance practice, same goes with the Oh Lalala dance practice. I highly recommend you to react on EXO Oh Lalala dance practice. These 2 dance practice are on another level and The Eve dance practice is the sexiest. Haha. They are so amazing here that Chen and Baekhyun are not even on the dance line. Blooming Days is definitely on my top 3 favorite dance practice of EXO. It's soo clean, smooth, precise, and balanced. And yup, what I love the most of EXO's dancing is the way they can make it look so easy, so effortless. They're indeed a bunch of talented dancers. Even Baekhyun&Chen, who are officially not in the dance lines, can give such an amazing dance performance.

My dance group did learn this dance, so I can confirm, that it is harder than it looks. xD Lots of details and tricky musicality in places. But it is super fun to dance! I've noticed that quite a bit in EXO's choreos they match their movements musicality to the vocals more than highlighting the instrumentals like some. I think it helps them sing and dance at the same time better~ Sadly, I think, for EXO one of their greatest determents when it comes to people recognize them as strong dancers/performers is how easy they make it look. (It's a bit like the people accusing them of not singing live because they sound too good with what looks like little effort). [I also think a lot of people fail to realize how memorable & iconic EXO's dances are; people may think some moves are silly, but they know the moves & often fail to do the same move~]
It's called vocal choreography where it helps singers be stable when performing rather than doing extreme movements that makes the singer struggle to sing like moving their torso a lot. Personally, i prefer musicality in dancing and that's why i like a lot of SM's choreography including EXO.
I remember the time ago when chen was having a hard time in dancing before but my hardworking man made it now, they make hard move seeing as an effortless move for audience

She is going through a very very bad time with the illness right now. She will be doing some medical rehab for a month. I am very worried and scared for her. I am scared of losing her. I want to be strong for her. I watch you in good shape that gives me hope. I know that every situation are not the same whether similar or not. Although she tells about her lupus and I look up information about it, I know that I can never fully understand what she is going through. I pray and hope that she gets better. I pray for your continued good health and for her good health.
