Also this is actually way more savage than I expected so far! Usually I'm the one going "you have six of that palette, you don't need to keep it!" Watching declutters by anyone, but I really like how you're comparing across brands and such, and being realistic about why if you want to keep multiple of color stories.

Im so happy you didnt part with the Hourglass shadows just because you dont support the brand anymore! After I went cruelty free I also didnt throw away all the products that arent from cruelty free brands. I still did spend a lot of money on them and still enjoy them so I rather use them up instead of being arrogant and also creating unnecessary waste :)
That is sensible you already spent money on them. Either wear them or donate or give to friends don’t discard and create waste
Same! I still have a small box of MAC lipsticks; my favorite even if I’m not going to buy them anymore. They’re so pretty, I’ll use them since I have them and maybe by then something will change with the company. 😩
I thought hourglass was cruelty free and didn’t sell in China. Has this changed?

Hey there! About those Gerlain lipsticks with the mirror in the packaging: you can get rid of the lipstick itself and keep the lid with the mirror! Then you can purchase a lipstick you find you would use more and pop it on that lid/casing with the mirror, if that makes sense. Did I make sense? Just saying you can totally keep that packaging and re-use it! xD

If you havent gotten rid of your melt palettes yet, the shades are magnetic and easy to remove! I took all the shades I likes from across my palettes and put them into my Twentyfour palette packaging and I use it almost every day!
They’re recent palettes are but not the original first rounds of palettes!

Great declutter video! Pat is like hourglass for me in that I could never part with any thing cause her shadows are too beautiful! I was so disappointed with the Smokey Sessions palette, my absolute fav colors but the formula was a let down so I never reached for it. I also dont like the movie beattlejuice!
Inglot Duraline in the CP Supershock shadow will bring it back to life btw

I also am obsessed with melt and am missing the muerte palette and it kills me that I didn’t buy it when i could. Now it’s like $200 or more on Mercari. I’m surprised you don’t have the Gemini palette which is my favorite from them! We have very similar taste, and anything you love I know I will too 🥰

I just came home all hot and sweaty (it’s still summer where I live) but as I watch this video I’m like “ooohhh yeah baby it’s sweater weather time to get the autumn makeup out” even though it’s like 35 degrees celsius here

You got rid of a lot!! Better to declutter a little at a time so it doesn’t become overwhelming. Then you can never find anything in your collection. Now I sort of declutter as I go. My makeup fits in one white dresser that way. I need to go through all of my palettes soon also. 💚
