this is going to be the coolest channel. SO interesting. Cant wait till you get deep into the engineering and testing of design. What are you plans for the second lancair - subscriber giveaway :) ?

Noticed mention of the outback gear. Planning to use grass/dirt runways? Love lancairs!

Great question. Flutter analysis shows no flutter beyond 350mph

I’m training in a cirrus sr22 atm. I’m about done. I’d rather own a lancair but from from I have read it seems like all the models are a little squirrelly. What if I did buy one completely done and have what I think is a good mechanic in a cirrus center plus they seem to work on everything. Will a mechanic be confused on anything? Will I have maintenance guide book from the seller? I’ve worked on all my boats and never really needed to take them to the shop so I feel like I can also assist my mechanic until I get a better grasp on the plane.

You can't do any work except certain preventative maintenance on your own plane unless you built it yourself.

There is a part to attach to the leading edge of the right wing to counteract the prop wash squarely you are concerned about. Developed by a guy in Australia.

Not if you are the builder.
