My favorite Wind-Up tech pick is Whitefish Salvage, a once-per-turn way of recycling Shark that'll search another Shark from deck if the opponent tries to pop it.
Love the aesthetic of this archetype; I'm a sucker for turning normal things toyetic; with cartoonishly large screws and ball-joints. Shout-out to Gotcha Force for the Gamecube~
I’ve been looking forward to this video! I tried to play wind-ups once the link came out, but eventually had to dismantle and sell the deck. However, now I sometimes use it in master duel. Just such a fun archetype & that live duel between Pegasus & Kaiba where Pegasus uses wind ups was really fun!
Using the Wind-Ups is really cool because if you do it right you can easily have 6 monsters on the field, use four of them to get out Saryuja and draw into your next strategy. I personally combined it with Scraps, inspired by the Kitten and Snail's ability to slowly wipe your opponents field.
Wind-Ups was the only time I played something close to a meta deck. I didn't know it would be meta when I decided to build it. After they were hit too soon, I returned to fish and used 3 Wind-Up Shark in it for the rest of my IRL playing time. Then in Master Duel I use three Shark again in all my fish variants along with Zenmaity.
They can easily add more support and monsters for this archetype. There are different types of monsters that can be filled like: Fairy and dragon and such. They also need to stop focusing on what happened with Hunter and Carrier and try readjusting the strategies for another kind. And add more XYZ monsters, or even yet, different types of extra deck monsters like Fusion or Synchro or more links. I like this particular archetype with its style and unique playstyle.

Just ban Hunter. Why the fuck was it ever allowed to live and Maighty die? All it takes is Wind-Ups finding a way to summon Hunter multiple times without him, and the handloop is still legal.

Wind-ups are one of my favourite along with geargia. They remind me of toys i used to had as a kid.
I just tried this deck out a while back. Its pretty amazing. It's ahead of its time.
I love the designs of the non-xyz monsters, they remind me of Gotcha Force, a criminally underrated gamecube game.

I hate to be that guy, but why not use this one as an instance of what players could do with the deck in Master Duel?
