I loved your mention of intuitive eating, it is imperative for people to realize how to listen to the actual needs of their bodies and that varies from person to person day to day. Individual balance and optimal health for yourself is key ♥

This honestly made me feel so much better because as I’ve gotten older I’m definitely not as hungry when I wake up or even really during the day and I always feel kind of judged for it. I didn’t realize I’m just responding to my own body’s clock when i eat and I always feel just fine it’s exactly what you said each day fluctuates.

OMG when you talked about raw foods and how everyone talks about salads being the healthiest thing,I immediately felt I need to tell you what I went through. I used to think that raw veganism was the ONLY and BEST way to eat. Now let me tell you I am vegan and have been for over 5-6 years, and that will not change. But I had sooo much hormonal and cystic acne for about 1 year, and I decided to go raw vegan to heal it. I stayed raw vegan for about 6 months and then went Raw til' 4 because I needed some cooked meals during autumn/winter. My acne never healed. Then my best friend told me I should look into acupuncture and Chinese medicine. That's when my life changed completely (about 3 years ago). The TCM practitioner told me that raw foods are definitely healthy, but not necessarily for everyone (depends on where they live and their health situation), not for any time of the day and of the year, and even the types of foods will differ from person to person. At first I couldn't believe it because the idea of RAW VEGANISM being the only way to eat was so deeply engrained in my mind. But I was so desperate to heal my acne and digestive problems that I decided to at least try. (I remained vegan though) With acupuncture every week and listening to my TCM practitioner's advice on my lifestyle habits and eating changes, I HEALED! And permanently! This has been 3 years and I now more than ever understand how my body works and reacts to different situations and foods. Since then I've learnt that Ayurveda is the more ancient version of TCM (both so amazing!) and they are so similar in many ways. If anyone wants to do something wonderful for their mental, spiritual and physical health, do look into TCM or Ayurveda! So much love :)

I can't eat a lot of raw food either and salads are the worst!!! I've recently heard the same from a bunch of people so you're definitely not alone! It can take time to unlearn how we've come to think of eating salad as "the best" food choice.
I like that you don't base your meals around the time of day. I tend to eat dinner even when I'm not that hungry just because it's dinnertime. It's a habit that I'd like to change so thank you for sharing what you do!

I can totally relate to eating all over the place!! lol I'm the same. And being in martial arts for 10 years and wrestling in high school and doing crossfire i really gave up on the "perfect" diet.. everything in moderation . Everyone's chemical make up is different and the needs are different. Took me until 35 to not be hard one myself when i'm not eating so perfectly....
    hope the movie/show was good!

coming from a cold climate (northern european) as you do, it makes perfect sense that your body craves more warming foods. I also can't eat a lot of raw food and even have trouble with fruit, especially raw. You also may want to look into finding a green powder that doesn't contain wheatgrass or any other cereal grasses, which can be surprisingly tough on our digestive system. (I know that's a challenge when you are sponsored). I struggle with eating issues too and being in lockdown has been very hard, I have gained a lot of weight. Thanks for being genuine and transparent. It is very refreshing.

I think it's just that each body is different. My friend that loves raw food is from Canada and I'm originally from Bulgaria which has cold winters but super warm summers. It's just been so refreshing giving myself the permission to listen to my body though and give it exactly what it wants. I personally haven't had any issues with the powder, I find it makes me feel amazing and super energized but again, every body is different! Thank you so much ❤️

I´m so glad you mention that raw salads are not the right way for everyone. I´ve experienced needing medical help to get my digestion to function and the doctor pointed out the importance that raw food is harder for the body to digest than cooked so they always recommend cooked food and fibers for people with digestive problems. Thank you for promoting that, it means a lot to those of us who can´t do raw diets :)

I’ve had digestive issues for a long time and I feel the same! Of course! I’m happy to keep talking about it ☺️ I’m actually looking into eating according to Ayurveda, excited to document that!
