    FAM! my first baby mama was my junior high school girlfriend. After high school graduation, we just didn't rock with each other anymore. We have a grown a$$ daughter we both love extremely. Over the years, we both got married to other people and have had kids and for what ever reason we actually became extremely good friends...... nothing sexual or what ever. Till this day we can speak on anything. i understand the dynamic of what Jess and Rome are talking about. it seems weird, but it works

    I'm a weird nigga because I never had trouble being friends with my exes. For me I've always approached relationships from the respect of if I'm not mature enough to be in one I just continue dating until I find the right one. I've never broken up with a girl where the break up was so bad we couldn't kick it afterward as friends. i think what happens a lot is people jump into these relationships without really knowing or having feelings for the other person and then they break up and they gain animosity for them. I think what Jess and her baby daddy are doing is great and it's good for the child. When a kid is involved is so fucking important for the parents to be on the same page, especially when it comes to the mama's boyfriends coming into the house.

    Not having healthy boundaries is still toxic behavior, only a small selection of people in a new relationship is going to tolerate you giggling on the phone with your BM/BD just any time of the day & it’s probably because they don’t know what a healthy boundary is as well

    Speaking from the same perspective of not having a lot of family or friends I don’t think it’s weird at all for exes to think of or refer to each other as brother and sis. When you think of the concept of a relationship that person probably was your best friend at some point and it’s natural for best friends to become family over time. It’s more of this person is my family member now, vs a title of bro and sis.

    • @janedough6410
      @janedough6410 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm on the fence with the title. Of course it's a respect thing, family, etc... among adults within. But for a child (depending upon age) it can be awkward and confusing in a literal sense, ie: Family tree: brother, sister ---> Me 😬😵‍💫. That's my moms brother and my dad. In the end what's important - both parents get along. But as a child's parent, you will always be family - kin.

I hope she continues in that character. May God's blessings be upon her. That's a good woman.

    Maturity and putting anything negative to the side for the child/children is dope! It does not have to be negative/toxic. My husband and I both agree it’s definitely possible. It’s about the babies not about the parents mess etc. And should be more than not.
