I have seen others loosen the control arms, I am not sure that is necessary, is it?

Thanks for the reply. I had been hesitant to do this since I did not understand how to make sure it was tightened back correctly. I saw in another video it needs to be tightened under load. I messed up the rear and it now bounces so I am thinking I need to take it apart and tighten it under load to fi it.@@EuropeanAutoRepair

@ironsales5669 yeah it’s hard on the bushings when it’s tightened with the suspension hanging and then the center rotates when it’s sitting on the ground

I am not sure what that means as I have not yet gotten the shock / strut out. I was doing the bearings last week so I need to go back in and do the shocks in the rear. I did pick up the bump stop / covers for the shocks as they were totally disintegrated. I am not sure there is anything else to replace. Right now I just hope the nut has not punched through the shock mount on the top.@@EuropeanAutoRepair
