My son went through something similar with Bank of America. He just pulled up all his money and went to the credit union. The bank use your funds, to invest . That's exactly why they deposited it, instead of straight cashing it..

I stopped dealing with banks 20 year ago. Your money disappear in your account and they can't explain why; yet they can fix the error smh. Deposits take 5 minutes but trying to get your own money out takes an hour lol. Ever since I switched to a credit union it's been easy peezy.

I used to work at BOA. She could have cashed the check just simply based on the fact that you had the funds in your account to cover the loss in the event there was something wrong with the check. Not to mention the check was under 10k which wasn't going to flag the system and make you fill out the form to make yourm document that amount being taken in cash. If BOA is your bank they have already proven that they show prejudice with their business and clients.

Could be so many things. Maybe, even if the funds are avaliable to cover it if it was a bad check, they still have to call and confirm? She didn't sound racist, she wasn't rude or loud with him, we couldn't see any facial expressions or body gestures (but by the audio I'd think they would match her tone and language). We weren't there is all I'm saying and maybe things have changed since you last worked there? Maybe she could've done it much quicker and easier, but she's just inexperienced.. Bro I had a Situation where I got a $23,000 check from an insurance company for a total loss payout on my jaguar S-Type back in 2015. When I went to cash the check at the bank the check was drawn on the teller and the manager refused to cash it because they said “nobody gets a total loss payment because the money need to go to the finance company.” I told them I don’t have a finance company because I’m not like everyone else, I pay cash for all my cars and all my real estate. They refused to cash it. I sat in the bank waiting lobby and called the insurance company and the bank corporate offices. The both called the branch and the bank manager became all red faced and tried to apologize but I refused her apology and told her that she only did this because I’m not white and that I dealt with people like her my whole life. I made her put all the money from the check she ended cashing right in the palm of my hand then I folded it in two stacks and rubber banded it up and threw the whole $23,000 in both my front pockets like it was $23 and walked out laughing hopping in my new S550 in the parking lot.

YEARS ago, I got an insurance settlement for $4200. Went to the bank to cash said check, and the teller's vibe was "where'd you get this money?". To verify the check was legit, I had to call my lawyer to speak with the teller to verify that he wrote the check. Smh. Almost 30 minutes to cash a check. You woulda thought the check was worth 50 bands the way the teller was actin lol.

I went into my bank (5/3rd) in Ohio and the teller attempted to charge me 15 dollars for a cashier's check despite ALL my money being in their bank. I got pissed, called the corporate office, and then ended up getting a cashier's check anyway and depositing it into 3 separate accounts with Navy Fed and Wright-Patt. I don't have millions but when I took my money out they acted like I did.....

@@Muslimvegan2010 It's Friends and family. You just need a referal from someone who already banks with Navy Federal. I have 2 aunts who are military. My aunt got my mom in. My mom then got me and all her kids & even some friends in as well.
So if you have freind that banks with them just ask them to help get you in. Even if they were a referral themselves with only a friend linking them to military, they can still get you in. I know that was kinda long winded hopefully the explanation was as clear as possible.
