Sorry though I do belive in hunting, a deer blind isn't very sportsman like. I know fellas with deer blinds that bait the animal with apples and cracked corn. These animals are starving, it's like fishing in a barrel! If you shoot the animal while walking through the woods is one thing, but a blind is lazy and unsportsman like IMO! To shoot an animal from something like this is unethical! It's not like the animal is destructive like wild boar! Scopes, baiting, deer blind, decoys, give the animal at least half a chance, my God! But to each his own, I guess!
Haha simmer down sally! For one, I do what I want in the legal parameters. 2, no baiting in my state. 3 you still have to hit the woods like everyone else for a buck. 4. This is home base and it's not hard to decipher that. 5. Leave legal hunters alone and keep your superiority complex to yourself.. hunter harassment isnt a slap on the wrist bud. 5. Get over yourself and write a novel about your feelings instead. 6. Step in line with the other keyboard warriors and have a wonderful day! 🤣🤣🥱🤦♂️
@@1doughbaby if you know anything about our food system, this is way more ethical than buying meat from (insert meat processing company) the grocery store or a fast food joint. But go ahead with your virtue signaling.
That Sir, is one FINE deer camp/hunting blind! I've watched tons of videos on You Tube but I believe this one is as good a camp house as I have seen. Thanks very much for giving us an updated tour a couple years into its use. It is helpful to see how you put everything together to make a cozy camp. I really see this set up more as a place to hunt FROM more than OUT OF. It is certainly possible to knock off a doe or even a buck now and then out in those fields around your camp but many of those trophy bucks may still need to be hunted in the wood, not from the camp itself. But used like any other deer camp, this one gives you a great place to eat, sleep, relax, warm up, etc. while even being able to keep an eye out the window for a deer passing by. I like it!
man that is totally awesome!! love it.... you have done a great job on that. hope you have a window cracked while your running that heater. look forward to more from your palace.
See this is awesome. I come from a hunting family that has hunted the whole gambit of set ups and situations. From a chair with brush around it on some really poor deer grounds to professionally built blinds kinda like this on huge high fence places. Everyone has their own situation, preferences, and hunting style. We all buy the same hunting tags and that’s what matters. None of us are better or worse than others. Hunting gives us each individual joys that we all should appreciate. In this day and age hunting is being attacked 24/7 and we better band together stronger than ever.

That’s not exactly how hunting laws work. You can certainly hunt from inside of a cabin as long as you have permission from the property owner, and are more than 150yds away from another property owner/occupied residence. An elevated blind on 4x4 would not be considered a permanent structure/occupied residence anyway.
Im building a 10x12 blind. Will 4 4x4’s be strong enough to support the weight? I found brackets on amazon that say support 1k lbs and im assuming thats per bracket
Depends on the weight of the lumber imo. I used lumber from a Mennonite sawmill and the boards were very light and strong compared to box stores and lumber yards. I would add supports in the middle, you should be ok

And if you have to delete my comment... I rest my case!!
@BeardsAndBowsOutdoors Who the hell said anything about hunter harassment?

That is an absolute beauty of a deer stand. Very nice. Also, doubles nicely as a man cave away from the tribe when necessary!
Best of both worlds! 🙌💪

You fully understand what this camp is all about. The bucks do stick to the timber and have plenty of stands to hunt from. I appreciate you sir!
lots of good ideas here, I'll be watching again when it's time to build mine!
💯 💪👊
You did an awesome job! Looks like a great place to hunt, warmup, or just hangout!

Nothing like a home away from home!
Really neat thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Awesome camp!
Thanks! 🙌
love this build! might have to steal this design though
Let me know if you do. I'd like to check it out 🙌👊
Skirt the sides of your stairway so that not any game will ever see you come or go to your stand, and skirt the outside of your windows for glare when the suns out ! Bring Momma when it gets chilly
Me and my dad are building one very similar and slightly smaller amd this makes me excited
Nice! I hope it turns out great!
Noticed the solar phone charger, any thoughts on adding a full generator (gas or solar)?
I will be doing a solar video soon actually! It's almost setup fully 🙌👊
Your deer camp is more of a house than a blind. Is it legal to shoot out of it in your state?
Home away from home! Not illegal. You still have to hunt the woods of you want a nice deer
You sound like a little bitcHh. I bet you got your ass whipped growing up for being a tattle tale
No swage so prob not considers a house

Nice shack
Thanks 👊
Cost to build??
I have a newer video on here explaining how this setup was way under 5k
🦌🙌
💪
Yo everything in the cabin is practical now that crapper action is savage and nasty just go outside an do it
Stick to crapping over a log bud.. I can tell who hasn't used a setup like this before 🥱
That is the shit my brother
Thanks
💪👊
