I've pointed this out in other comment sections. But it points how why they never intended to have a game attached to this at all. If you're going to create a digital metaverse like Ready Player One, why would you model it after Earth when so much of it is useless? Why Earth when 70% of it is covered in water and the other 10% is either snow or desert? Souly to create the illusion of both familiarity, value, and scarcity. There would be no other reason for every tile to cost the exact same amount of money other than the reason that it's modeled after the Earth itself.

@@DarkKitarist It is not NEW. Like it was released yesterday. I was googling some reviews and they go back to some months. THE ONLY overwhelmingly positive reviews were people and one investment company that reviewed it with 4 or 5 stars AND at the end of their texts they were always reffering to their referral code. So, in short. This is not a game. There is no gameplay. There are tiles to buy and sell right now. The people behind the company (as many say wohoo look at that geniusses at work) got 30 years of experience and many others who listed it with a HUGE ammount of their..... credibility ( not money, their name like some really huge guys in the programmer scene and in their retirement age). I mea, that's cool. And I envy their vision. I mean No mans sky is some masterpiece. They got shot down on release but they fought through an are, right now, the best in their line of business. BUT HERE it is like it is. It is a map of the earth and a tile you can buy. At the start of it (I got it from a day one backer) it was just buying some "clothes or tiles" like a skin in other games. And they were never told that these tiles got some value to it. In phase two they were promised a game. Where you can landscape and create. But it never got to it. Instead they were told phase two is creating value to it. Some kind of tax or creating some kind of value on its own. AND THEN it was phase three suddenly. Where the landscape could be alternated (what was phase two) and will have, as time goes by, the access to virtual reality. In a time that couldnt be disclosed because no one knows if vr ever will be mainstream. So, they sell you for real money (that has to be changed to some cryptocurrency at first) a square of a virtual map (and it is a virtual map, I don't care if izts boxsomething made or a chess square) AND they refuse you to give you any compensation for anything. I can get behind it. When you can make it the best theme park ever seen you gain value. But if you fail you gain nothing. BUT there is not even a game going on. there is no value to the tiles. No one says Atlantis is more worth than Tokyo in the future. There is no indicator. Even as Atlantis isn`t real it could become real. And here we got the scam. As the map indicates that there are valuable tiles on grid (and they were sold for more money than others) people invested in it. There is NO INDICATOR whatsoever that these tiles will be, in the future, a replica of the pyramids in egypt. AND NOW, they say phase one is not over and you should invest and get a referral codes to invite others and themself give codes away to buy and people NEED new people to make money out of their tiles to get some money back or even make some profit. They are caged within. Either opting out and call it a loss or getting new investors for the tile you bought. And believe me, the more you spend the more you will either opting out on square or, as planned getting some money back. And the funy thing is, it wasn`t even their best option. If they could have held the option to buy out (what it is right now) for some time they could have had a community that is investing in it for a future game. But instead they give out referral codes to buy or referral codes to drag in new people ONLY to buy a square. Nothing else. If I would be an investor in that "game" (not buying but investing in the company) I would buy them a ferrari, each of them. All in the knowledge that the real money is in their hands and no refunds given because you don`t even pay with real money- yeah I would invest in that shit as soon as I hear about it. As a third party investor like master card or as an advisor. It's gold for free. Everyone else who thinks big third party contributors (who oinly give their name and some basic service in return) indicate a nice game are just a square on that tile. There is no need to invest in a square on a virtual map and never getting the GAME (that is postponed into some diffuse future) you would like to have
I hope the people falling for this is only using disposable Income, it's sad to see people pouring their life savings into scams. Learning a hard lesson no doubt.

The game is stabilizing as we wait for Phase 2 and many players are holding for the long term :)
Oh god, now I have the urge to make an actual game that works like that. Though who the hell would play that? Only the richest kiddies on earth? It's like the very essence of pay-to-win made into a game.
your the only one making videos on earth 2 scam that made the correlation between Nathaniel and his terrain generator. huge smoking gun imo
Just like Any SCAM, Play on emotions and People Dreams of Big EASY Money for Basically "no" risk...this is What results. Of course you are asked to ANTE up money AS Part of the First Step.
Someone give this man a knighthood 🙌🏽 doing gods work
You ever see a scam and fear your family has fallen for it but you're too scared to call and ask because you worry that will make them look into it if they haven't and then fall for it then?
As I writing this comment, 28 "investors" already disliked your video.
You were right. You did have something to add. It was context.
Me thinking its about to start....11 hours from now :O
I've been doing a ton of research on Earth 2 Its a long and dark rabbit hole.
Holly fuck, you're a God, man :D Digging out all the tiniest bits and pieces!
So in simple words, it is "Pyramid Scheme" or as in current days they named "Multi-level marketing"
I think it's been known as MLM for at least three decades now.
@@6581punk yea, that's what I said "Multi-level marketing" ;)
I fucking died when you showed that the whole game was just a unity asset, it's the best running gag for this shit lmfao
I love how Big Fry had some folks basically make their own version of this nonsense, it was a hilarious roast of this obvious bullshit.
The person who created the terrain builder tool that other people use to build games, has built a new terrain system and is using it to make E2. How is that a scam?
@@danh4573 Unity cannot support that bigger terrain. Terrain composer 2 is considered to be on the bottom of the pile when it comes to terrain generation tools. Unity cant even support 200 players on an 8 km square map without FPS stutters and freezing. Its simple we don't have the technology or the games engine to make a ready player one world.
@@matchugg547 It has 724 user ratings which puts it in top 6 terrain plugins on unity marketplace? He says he has created a new program which he is using for E2. He appears to have some credentials at least.
We do not have details on how many people can play the world at one time as yet - 200 people in one instance/ property area sounds like a reasonable start. I'm not expecting ready player one any time soon, but it's a start.
8:50 the guy literally has 'white/supremacist' as his discord status. Yeah I'm gonna pass.
Great video as always. Just catching up on the earth 2.0 shit now, and great to see you grow so quickly as well. Keep it up lad
to me, it sound like the First In Base is trying scam the later comers but the bad thing is
The First In Base are already money out because who has the control, has the money
Let them get scammed, they deserve it.
Let's go!! Another E2 video!
Earth it self is already a scam much less earth 2.

once again glad that yt is gihting against bs like this
Dude cant wait for u to review the superior earth
EarthConneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeect
The more people that cover these the better :)
Dude this is gonna be lit
I know right? I feel bad for the people who are gonna lose the money, but the downfall will be epic.
There is no need to invest in a square on a virtual map and never getting the GAME (that is postponed into some diffuse future) you would like to have
Just think, every dislike on this video is a mark that got duped.
So this is where it started...the Earth 3 challenge.......
Hold on... isn’t this a pyramid scheme?!
Keep up the hard work
hey dude earth 2 defenders are coming be careful
already here. but won't have a chance against the mob
@@Ralferator Poor dudes investing in google maps, although they are quite dumb
@@Ralferator Haven't seen them yet, or threads with dozens of replies. I'm gonna brace for it and check on them later lol
If this is a scam, let em be burned. I'll be laughing.
I wanna see any of the people buying squares provide any evidence the team has the skills to actually make this a real game.
Is the US government, Security Exchange Commission (SEC), cracking down on them?
Was it really a memory or did you watch Virtual Legality?
30 seconds in and i’m HYPED!
what a fantastic video
I hope the people falling for this is only using disposable Income, it's sad to see people pouring their life savings into scams. Learning a hard lesson no doubt.
I think all these scam games follow Star Citizen model.
Reminder set.
This sure is interesting.
Love this video!
Isn’t it time to notify the authorities?
i like your work. this shit is crazy.
Hey Callum, what are your skill levels in terms of working in UE4 or UE5? Are you a modelers? Animator? Etc... the reason I ask is the dev studio I work for have some open positions for our latest project which is in pre-production and we are looking at brining new people on board. Let me know if you are interested and we can talk in greater detail.
Earth 2.0? Dreamworld 2.0 more like
This early access scam shit should be called NMS (No Man Sky) Syndrome, for people who don't want to see the obvious facts and still back broken games/scams.
Scam.
Scam never changes.
oh no, my dad spent money on it
one of the soaps on the internet.... love it... you must be pretty crazy to invest in this....
