They should totally add a mode like tag where everyone who's in the lobby has their cursors shown for each other. I could see it being annoying but I think it would be pretty cool to try out. I doubt it's probable to even do but if it's possible, I think it would be worth a shot.
the problem is network latency. every user's cursor position would have to be broadcasted possibly 60 times a second. if network lags, this will affect not only the lagging player but also everyone seeing the lagging player's cursor.

60 times a second shouldn't be an issue, there are many multiplayer games that sends several times the amount of that.
