Cal is a superstar catcher with a good head on his shoulders and is just about to enter his prime. He deserves everything good coming his way and I just hope the Mariners pay the man when it comes time because I believe we will sorely regret it if we don’t.
Lucky to have Cal on this team.. He shows he is level headed and points out they know there is time this offseason for the front office to make some moves and make this team better. We'll have to see where things are at headed into Spring Training!
Over it. Watching about 500 hours a year of games on and off since 1976. Life is short. I'm 61 and I'm reclaiming those hours. Thanks for the memories!
Being a lifelong M’s fan, this offseason’s brand of agony is all too familiar and oddly nostalgic. Hey, we’ll always have the Big Dumper’s Big Dinger… Thanks Cal
ugh I'm screaming at the screen - - what a dumb question Brock - - "So Cal, what does the team have to do to win...blah blah blah..."...come on man.... how many years have we been asking this question??? Cal answered the question at the end of last year: SPEND MONEY, GET MARQUE PLAYERS, HITTERS and PITCHERS.
Cal is a great Person to have on this team, great optimistic outlook. But the owners dogged the fans this time, the players they traded away spells it out. And I would bet as soon as cal is due for a decent contract he will be shipped off two. We Need A Real Owner that Wants A Championship in Seattle. Not a 8 games above .500 management and ownership.
21 teams won the World Series while top 10 in payroll since 1995. 8 teams won the World Series while outside the top 10 in payroll. Roughly 72.5% of the time teams win the World Series while top 10 in payroll.
Does anyone else find it tragically ironic that Dipoto left Anaheim because the owner couldn’t stop spending money stupidly to join up with owners who stupidly decide to NOT spend at the most opportunistic times imaginable?
Mariners ownership wants to field an affordable .540 team that crosses its fingers hoping for more 2022-style "baseball luck". Do Julio Rodriguez a favor now and trade him to a team that wants to win its division... it would suck for him to waste his career in Seattle with an underachieving organization like King Felix did.
Cal wants to win, confirmed Kelenic won't be missed in the clubhouse, and literally said "it's still the off-season, we know there are moves coming". Like Salk said there's been a lot of noise the last two months. Like Cal said, very little of it is worth listening too.
was Kelenic regarded as a clubhouse cancer? I haven't looked into it too much. i feel like the players are supposed to give a pedestrian response, otherwise their hands will get slapped.
@@sea4our Typically if guys are friends they'll talk about it. All Cal said was "we went up through the minors together". I don't think Kelenic was a cancer per se but we all know what it's like when "that guy/girl" gets fired at work. That's what it felt like Cal was expressing to me.
I listened closely to the Kelenic part. I didn't get the impression that he won't be missed in the clubhouse. The focus of was that baseball is a business at the end of the day. Maybe I'm not reading between the lines enough?
Sorry Cal. Run if you can from management and crappy ownership. They will soon trade you and others so they can make more cash and not try to win again.
Big dumper is a real one and I'm glad to have him on our team ✊
i love dooming about the m's in december. it really brightens up the holidays

He’s gone the second his contracts up. I don’t blame him.
There’s no way John Stanton is paying cal, matter of fact he’s celebrating hanukah right now
Love Cal and heck of a ball player but by no means is he a SUPERSTAR catcher 😂😂

If there is a reason to be optimistic why aren't the Mariners saying so? They enjoy the beating?
Great interview! Cal is awesome and its good to hear he's hopefull.... cuz I sure have massive doubts
I could say Cal is definitely the voice of our team.. definitely grateful to have him.. thank you Cal!
Cal Raleigh is a class act.
I hope this seattle mariners will be better next year go mariners 😊
Lol don't hold your breath

ditto
i think the same thing, but i'll see you in april 😂
Cal really is one of the best -- loves the fans and truly wants to win.
Being a lifelong M’s fan, this offseason’s brand of agony is all too familiar and oddly nostalgic.
Hey, we’ll always have the Big Dumper’s Big Dinger…
Thanks Cal
anyone over 30 has lived through this a few times
Atleast catcher is not a need for us like it is with 3B, LF, RF and DH. Very thankful we have Cal!
add 1B and 2B too. We're really weak at those positions.
@@rylian21 also a pitcher to close out the ninth

Every time Cal says "you know", take a drink.

Ownership has failed our young guns
I.hope.the mariners will be much better in 2024
cal very guarded in his comments
Why buy a team to absolutely not try to win
To make profit.
Millions upon millions of rea$on$
Don't give away games early have the mindset of every game matters, put the ball in play
Tired of hearing its early that game don't matter
Cal is a G
He sounds so depressed

Bad spelling, been here since the beginning and this is same o same o. Greed over People
Big Dumper ❤
After 3 minutes of "ya knows" I couldn't listen anymore.
They should sell some of the team to the public kinda like the Green Bay packers
Cal don’t said anything anymore because they will trait you.
Ya know 🤣🤣
What a dumpster fire of an organization.
Seattle sports media is as soft as 10 ply, lobbing softball questions at a baseball player.
What does grilling Cal do? He feels the same way as the fans
What would you even grill him about?
