Hundreds of planner videos and you are one of two non-Jet Pens videos I have saved. You are the reason I just ordered a Sunny Blue Hobonichi Weeks Mega from Jet Pens (they restocked tonight). You made so much sense, you saved me from being overwhelmed by a Cousin. Thank you. The peach/pink was my second choice so if you will not be using it, I could use a meal planner!
Thank you. I've used a Weeks for three years and have always struggled with the back pages and what to do with them. You've given me so much to think about for next year.
I love using the Hobonichi note pages to write down new recipes that I’m trying, along with the date, where I found the recipe, etc. I’ve done this for several years now and it’s a fun way to revisit memories from the year.
Thank you for this flip through! This has been THE BEST video I’ve seen on Weeks set up!!!! This gave me a lot of ideas & I really appreciate that you took the time to do this!!!
I use the Weeks pretty similarly, it just became my ride or die this year! And I also ordered three because I can't help myself. Thanks for sharing, your Weeks is very inspirational!
See, I bought a Weeks earlier this year, enabled by this channel, tried it for a couple months and couldn’t get into it? I already made my Hobonichi order and didn’t get a weeks…. But after watching this, I want to try a weeks again!
Love this video! U use the mega weeks and will use it next year too! This gas been so inspirational and given me a lot if ideas how I can better use it. I think I'll be able to get rid of one if my other planners! Thank so much!
Lovely flip friend! I never heard of December starts for the new year but wow, does it make so much sense! Then the holiday season is way more chill and then 100% of you focus can go into new year goal setting 👏🏻👏🏻
Hi Lindsey, I’d love to see an in-depth video of you trackers in your weeks. I’m wanting to track a variety of things and would love some inspiration from you in how you set these up.
I love my weeks and don’t think I will ever get rid of it, it’s the only planner that i am consistent with. Love the way you plan in yours. I have tried to be minimal in mine but it didn’t last long. I have a Filofax pocket Malden which is my undated minimal planner/wallet. I like to think it’s the best of both 😁
This was amazing! I wrote down so many tips for next year’s Weeks setup, thank you! I’d love to hear more details about your trackers, which ones worked and which ones you are not going to use in 2022. ❤️
I remember seeing earlier this year (probably in the spring; after I bought 3 weeks yikes! Yes, 3 🤣😅) a video(s) of you setting up this planner; pretty great to have a detailed update as we move into the final quarter. It seems like a fair amount of work to check and add the blurring where needed, so thanks for doing all that to bring it to us. I really love the weeks, and am also thinking of buying more than 2 this year, heh. I’m using one of them for menu planning (mostly dinner; but a corner for lunch and breakfast) I was inspired by Angeliz’ Stationery Room here on YT if you are interested; I think you and she are the most interesting/useful to me Weeks users here on YT. (I also saw someone else; forgot the name, sorry! Who is a huge Weeks fan, and came to the idea of having a Nightstand Weeks as a brain dump; perhaps she does use her Weeks a ton but it is in a purse and not to hand when she suddenly needs it before bed or etc. so, it’s like a jotter to her, except she can jot it “where it belongs” in Main Weeks and easily add it later. Could you/have you explain(ed) your BuJo pages/notation methods in more detail? They may be pretty basic, but the seem utilitarian, spacious, but not voluminous. Most BuJo I see is kind of More and More and Most; and I feel like I don’t need to get into that kind of exhaustive, perfectionistic-quality space, so I have not paid close attention. I currently use a system where I “note-up” a little A6 sheet from my spiral notebook most evenings with date top L, a thing or three I need to do work/on underneath in AM. (Mostly Habits, usually. Something like cheering me on to put in laundry or eat something; really just a couple, and they are really basic “the worse I am doing”; then something for PM if needed a few lines lower, into bottom left quadrant, then the other side will have tasks that are usually “this-week” type of timeline, and not always done that day. This would fit well on the right weekly page. There are a few other aspects (like an affirmation, and something positive about the day before which I would have written in the night before.) This is good in a lot of ways; it is a casual sheet for me to check; but it often gets used for 2-3 days, or has the “this week” tasks re-written on multiple days, which I may appreciate not doing.
Hi! Thanks for watching. Sounds like you’ve got a great system going in yours too! I have a Key video on my channel where I walk through my signifiers - I think I show them in my weeks but I use the same symbols across both planners! (They’re actually the same plans across both planners if you want to get technical 😂)
Thanks for sharing this flip Lindsey! I think it says a lot about how rough these last few years have been for everyone that I legit didn't notice initially that you called this your 2022 Weeks. (I keep writing 2020 on things, or sometimes 2022 🙈😂) I'm pretty excited, I've decided to try a Weeks for myself this year, and see how it works for me! I think a lot of that is from seeing your pages and getting so many good ideas for how to use it from your IG and your videos, so thanks a bunch! 💕
I don't know why but I feel like if you don't use a weeks next year, I'll be heartbroken. like you were so consistent this year! haha also, I can't wait for your 2022 lineup! 😊
Your ideas and set up are amazing. What things do you put in the back bullet journal portion that don’t go into the weekly tasks? Also, I noticed you have a monthly tracker, weekly, and tracker in the back. What’s the difference in those?
Also, I'm really curious what colours you're getting for your Weeks Mega for next year? especially if you've gotten 3, because none of the colours seemed like your go to colours... was it hard to pick?
@@lindseyscribbles you mean, all 5!? 😲 In person like... you have a local stationery store near you that sells them? (if so, lucky, wish I did!) Or you mean you bought all of them from Hobonichi in order to see them? 😅
Did you order all mega for weeks next year? I can not wait to see your choices & decision of planners next year use! Not to mention, you have got me using the weeks and perhaps weeks mega for next year ☺️ I hope to achieve simple and minimal planning with weeks mega to organize hectic-to-be next year 🤦🏻♀️ Thank you for sharing! Such an inspiration.
2022 will be my first time using a weeks! Currently I'm using a bullet journal for my planning , looking forward to switching . I noticed that I didn't see your weeks bookmarks? Did you cut them off? ✂️ it seems like a lot of people cut of theirs
The mega weeks was my planner before I started homeschooling my kids and running our farm, I used it pretty much exactly as you are, but once we started homeschooling and started farming I needed a lot more room, both daily, for detailed notes on daily lessons, weekly for lesson plan overview and prep and monthly for planting and harvest schedules. I still don't used the hourly timeline in the weekly view but I do in the daily view to, first, sketch out a plan for the day, as to how im going to fit everything I need to do into the 14 ours I have a day, and secondly, to track how the day actually went so i can get ideas about how to make better use of my time. There's no way I could fit everything I need to plan now into a weeks, maybe if it had twice the amount of notes pages, or if they had a blank notebook that was weeks size like they do for the a6 and cousin, but since there really aren't any blank tomoe river notebooks that are the same size as the weeks, and I like to keep all my planning in one book for the most part, I'm happy with the cousin. I use a b6 slim idea note from kokuyo for my permanent collections and reference information which easily slides into the back pocket of my a5 gillio appunto. I use unused weekend dailies in my cousin for ongoing lists and reference info I will likely only need this year and index them in one of the blank pages in the back of the cousin. 2 years ago I never thought I'd need this much room but add a farm and homeschooling my 10, 11 and 16 year old kids and the cousin is just right! I do have a weeks which I keep in my purse, it is used strictly to house my weekly grocery/shopping list (don't want to have to pull out my cousin at the grocery store lol) and to jot down appointments at the dentist, doctor, orthodontist etc. and to note any ideas or info I happen to recieve while I'm out which all gets transfered into my cousin when I get home. I am a stay at home wife and mother of 3 on a farm, so I'm rarely out and about for longer than a couple hours. Does anyone know another homeschooling mom who uses the cousin and does videos about it? I'd love to see if there's any good ideas I'm missing.
How many pages have you used for your index thus far? Also how many more pages do you think you will use for the rest of the year? Which tombow markers are the greens?
I’ve used 1.5 pages for my index out fo the three I’ve saved. I’m planning on moving over to a new planner December 1st! I have about 40 pages left if I remember correctly. I’ll likely use about 32 of those by the end of the year - but it depends on what life throws as me
@@lindseyscribbles lets hope it is a safe and happy life, that will help you fill out those last 8 pages! I will move into my weeks at the end of November also. Been a bad year for me planning because of stress with my thesis, that if I planned I would just do productive procrastination, plan the whole time do nothing
Hi Lindsey... Love your very useful and inspiring videos! Can you tell us what pen that is? I know it's not a Vanishing Point, but that's the only one you have listed in the Pens list. Thanks.
In my experience they smudge quite a bit - but I know some people who use them. I’d recommend trying the finer tip like the 0.38 if you wanted to use it so it has a better chance of drying. Another gel pen I see recommended is the Uni One - it’s pretty inky / smooth. I personally stick with ball point, fine liners, or my fountain pen

Packs a punch, neat and organized 👍🏼

Thanks! I think my new mission is to normalize December starts 🤣 if the day starts at 12 am why can’t month 12 be the new beginning?
@@lindseyscribbles haha it’s manifesting itself around us as we speak lol

Hi Lindsey... Love your very useful and inspiring videos! Can you tell us what pen that is? I know it's not a Vanishing Point, but that's the only one you have listed in the Pens list. Thanks.
It’s a Pentel energel in the Clena body style. It’s what I’m currently using in my bujo - I don’t use it in my weeks!
Lindsey, the 2022 weeks you show is it also a mega?
Do you know what happened to Melanie of Addicted to Planning? No recent videos from her.
Can someone tell me how the paper in the Hobonichi handle Muji 0.7 pens? I love muji pens and am considering buying these planners.
In my experience they smudge quite a bit - but I know some people who use them. I’d recommend trying the finer tip like the 0.38 if you wanted to use it so it has a better chance of drying.
