In this song DR-202 sequences the intro synthline to JUNO-106 with midi. Toms are samples and programmed in ableton. DR-202 makes an awesome 80's / Synthwave toms too, I will make a quick video to showcase that. I hope to get the video online on tuesday :)
I did have some spare time last night and noodled with the DR-202. I programmed the same tom patterns in 202 that I have here and tuned the preset sounds to match the tuning. I could have got even better sounds from the 202 but I ended up using just 3 tom sounds to get things done.
