Sting might benefit from bar end mirrors ( under slung ). Nicely done on the welding & yes more is best as you can grind it off/flatten it. You might want to change the fork oil out as the spec would be heavier oil for track compared to road( stiffer). Great bit of Sunday therapy 👌
yes pretty shit hot i agree lol the weld was really good Nat, plenty on, but if you had anti splatter.... and a chipping hammer to slide the spatter off as soon as you put the welder trigger down, I some times use a slither of metal 125mm or longer x 25mm x 5mm just big enough to get hold of with gloves on and slid the splatter off, however there is always a grinder but they fling all over the shed at stuff lol, but look how nice it came out before painting, pat on the back for you
Finally caught up with all your vids, on the rear caliper you can drill it so you can tap the retaining pin out, put a little rubber bung in to keep all the crap out
Hi mate the bike looks great and sounds amazing I have a manual for one of my bikes which is the same if you would like to use it but don't think it mentions jet sizes but I have some jets removed from my cb1 400 very similar bike and share the same manual I will check what size they are later for you off top of my head i think one is 35 and other is 155

Thanks mate. Not bad for a first attempt and will only get better with practice.
I think John should pop down and give us a welding lesson? I'd love to get better at it.

That's exactly what I did before but I don't want to drill into the calipers this time, not when I can get new pins for peanuts.
Thats another stunning transformation Nat. I'm amazed every time mate.
Also I'm missing a screw driver, you havnt seen it have you
Looooooooool
Lol. Actually I do still have the bent one that was blocking the air pipe of the xl600!

@@NatsNackersYard here's what my cb1 400 jets are idle 35 main 105 I'm sure they will be the same as the owners manual is for both bikes good luck👍
@@Alex-ij9pb thanks mate.
I had to make a lug for a bike I once had and to stop me wearing the paint off with my foot I slipped some black rubber fuel pipe over the lug
Nice idea.
That is still only on 3 cylinders
