Dude i swear they did something with the netcode because I've had moments where i kill someone 5 feet away, they're dead on the floor for 3 solid secodns, and then i get shot and die from the arrow of the person currently decomposing on the floor.
The wholesome music really sells it. I'm glad I'm not the only one getting interrupted by AI every fight. At the very least, your suffering has brought joy to the masses lol
thank you mr davey jones locker 4703 i can break it down for you, my beautiful friend. i have 1521 kills (including assists) and 1463 deaths for a 1.039 KDA (has gotten worse from when i made the video, lol). assuming i was at 1.10 KD previously, which i believe i was before this, that is 81 deaths with no kills. and i was getting some kills along the way, but still dying overall, which would raise the death count to somewhere around 90-100. thank you for your input davey jones locker 4703

It’s pretty playable right now in my opinion, most of the netcode and major glitches haven’t happened to me in a while. Still some issues, especially with the ui lol, so we’ll see what happens. Gameplay feels good though
If that's any relief, this is pretty much 2024 for me lol. I used to be high-3/low-4 MMR, but since I hit 800 hours, around the update that removed free hunters, I've been on a massive downward spiral. Now I think I'm low-3, and I expect to hit high-2 soon. Feels like the entire 3 MMR range has had a massive skill increase for some reason. Hitting body shots doesn't seem to be viable anymore, they have much better map awareness, and when they hit you, they dome you. New 3 MMR feels like old 4 MMR, strangely.

"I'm explaining the next part from my experience, I have played hunt 1270 hours and I am a 6 star melee player" and I see you guys like to run melee, now I understand mixing it up for fun so take what you want but if you wanna see a bit more success with melee the bomblance is good but slow to pull out and is a large slot so you can only take a pistol, so for variety the katana with martialist is your best option I say this just as a player of melee please don't take this as a I know better just saying it removes any non kill hitmaker's as the heavy does 270 so anywhere you hit kills and when you do the martialist move its a wide slash that hits multiple targets great for a rush, if your pinching pennies bat is a great second option, kills to the torso with heavy and has a wide swing but cant break concertina and most bosses resist blunt well. any melee will do but those are the fastest reacting and killing potential but hey just have fun with it sorry for the paragraph, again loved the video sorry for the bother just want to help out other melee users
what a statement lmao, almost all clips in this video are because of decisions that shouldn't have been made or should have been done otherwise.. don't get me wrong i don't want to offend anyone but the real hunt frustation isn't your own skil issue.. im thinking of performance (fps soaks every now and then, fluctuating from 60-120fps or even lower depending on where you are), server performance, a non existent ping limit which leads to the dumbest deaths one can imagine, bugs that have been in the game for years and continue to disrupt the player experience, constant disconnects, rubber banding and desync is also worse than ever.. lord there are somany things one could name for the real frustration of hunt, but a skill issue certainly is no part of it

Real no bs advice: Your decisionmaking is pretty bad in like most of the clips. Try watching Rachta or Hornet vids on yt and really soak in what they do and why. I did just that and have never been the same since.

I go from 6 star all the way down to 4 stars sometimes from the crazy death streaks I get into lol. Just climbed back up to 5 yesterday haha

Average Hunt Showdown experience for most of the player base. Much love, my time with this game is often worse. 500+ hours with a 0.68 KDA.
