Okay guys the government doesn't want you to know this but the hunters in the soul survivor are free. You can just take them. I have 63 in my roster right now.
Soul Survivor was how I got rid of my fear of death and fights. As someone with 415 hours, I’m not confident that I’ll win as much as a solo player, but it’s modes like this that encourage me to play smarter. Mammon’s Gulch has been a great map to learn how to trap people and navigate, excellent addition to the game.
Ah man, that intro had me waiting for that moment 😂 Love seeing soul survivor getting some love, its a great mode and IMO genuinely adds so much value to the game. Want to not care? SS. Want a big payout if you win? SS. New player exploring the map? SS. Cheers mate.

With all the issues I had over the last week soul survivor is all I could play, I ended up with a lot of free hunters, loadouts and hunt dollars. Awesome video and I'm a brand-new player to the game! I have been playing the Soul Survivor mode (dying a lot), and you make it look so easy lol. I don't think I'll ever be as good as your gameplay, but Hunt: Showdown is a blast to play!

Yo definitely make this shit look easy 😂 ik it just comes with playing the game. Situational awareness is learned by dying from someone in a way you didnt expect or think was even possible. I think soul survivor allows you to get in more engagements with lower stakes since its often only one or two other solos at a time, and since its a free hunter, who cares if you die? Just run that shit again. Sure the mmr sucks, i dont think i should be 5 star, i legit am rank 21, and im being paired up with prestige level 50+ with likely hundreds if not thousands of hours played who really get the nuances of combat and the map. Its definitely made me play more conservatively in the bounty hunts, but even then ive really just been running free hunters and if i dont like the weapon i got i switch it with a hunter i killed or get a cheap replacement back in lobby. But yeah soul survivor i just look at as my practice for fights and learning how to position myself and use traps and tools better.

The MMR-differences shown at the end of the games is why sould survivor is only a nice time for really good players. Newbies will just get destroyed. No clue why they can not put some mmr in there as well.
Yeah fr. I've been on 5 star mmr a couple times, i'm 4 star now, but even so, i die in dumb ways and make dumb decisions. I dont want to play against these 6 star high iq individuals that'll calculate my every move and sip on a cup of coffee while head-clicking 2 players within 5 seconds. I'm just some ordinary guy trying to get that annoying achievement about having the wellspring for i think 250 seconds, and this guy makes it seem easy, but in truth i could be sitting in a compound with a crown & king and filled with traps and somehow STILL lose to some rat that'll headshot me within 0,3 seconds of peeking a corner. Half of the kills this guy got had me screaming " YOU DIDNT EVEN SEE HIM " because i hadn't even registered them yet. Shit's crazy. I mean i don't have over 1000+ hours yet, so i guess it's fair.. But still. I just wanna play against other noobs 😂

@@colefredericks2869 relatable tough, i keep having rounds where i die to pure bullshit. Last round? Me and my friend was in Duo's, we wiped 2 solo's, and 2 duo's. And the last team runs for us, my teammate kill one, and die. The other guy steps on a concertina trap, i shoot him with a specter shotgun 4 meters away. This guy is bleeding, damaged from trap, shot by a shotgun and yet didnt die. I shoot him again and he fanned 2 shots into me and we both die. The round is over, nobody to spectate. I had killed 5 or so people just for a dumb bounty i didnt get.. This fight took place ON THE EXTRACTION. Me and my teammate wasnt even mad.. We had wiped the lobby our damned selves, and we knew we did good. But my luck is low 😂
@Ace-fi8vs I do wonder why some guys just will not go down. There are some good skills to pick from, but nothing that should keep you from dying from a shotgun to the face at point blank range. One thing I wish they would do is make a single mode for the bounty hunt, instead of forcing you to play against teams by yourself but I suppose that's where soul survivor comes it, but it's just not the same as bounty hunt. It's too fast raced and for a newer shotty player like myself, most times I say oh look there's a guy, and before I line up the shot I get my head blown off. But I do love the game, it can be soooo intense, very few games can match that intensity these days
i love quickplay always the best way to warm up or get some free gear although i hope they add more skins its kinda sad i just get to collect blue shirt lady over and over now

Yeah, laser beam 3 stars keep killing me. I'm a half star, I just started and only play solo. I wish I knew this before I got the game. Tarkov may have been my choice then.
Funny thing yesterday I was playing solo in duos lobby, I killed 5 players single handedly. I did all that to die to a meat head killing me through a wall after being poisoned by the spider right after my antidote shot ran out. Nobody got the bounty.

Seems like it’d be better to let others get the wellspring first because they can be tracked. I’m still new at the game started playing a few days ago but I just don’t get the benefit of rushing the clues. Being tracked by all seems hard then just tracking the one you can see through walls.
@@zevenzeros being first allows you to take the position you want to defend and setup traps. It's much harder to attack the wellspring when they are sitting comfortably inside a building and you have to push with potentially 10 other people trying to do the same. It's better to let the lobby kill each other outside your position. Another reason why grabbing the wellspring first is important for newer players is hunt dollars, each time the wellspring ticks down that's hunt dollars in your pocket, win or lose. 👍

I got this on pc and ps5 . Ps5 runs nicer for me but in regards to switching from primary weapon to explosives etc takes along time if ya know what I mean.

Really trying to enjoy the game but most of the time either things seem to be blurry or im unable to see other players. Im running a rtx4080 so its not like im lacking frames and motion blur has been set to off. Also this has occured since the update.

@@KirkSalty Trades can be a pain for sure! But you do get to keep the hunt dollars you earn in game from rifts or the wellspring so it's not a total waste if you do trade.
@@madmeaty9445i think the only part of soul survivor that i dislike is that it just throws people from all MMR ranks into 1 game. I mean sure MMR isnt everything and all, but a 2 Star player doesnt stand a chance against one with 6 stars (i mean sure you can be lucky sometimes, but thr difference in game knowledge and aim will almost always secure you the win. So back in the day i didnt enjoyed it, because i never stood a chance. If the would make it so that youre ranked up against players at a simular skill level it would be more enjoyable in my opinion (i mean for the most part i think in bounty hunts its really good balanced and i have simular wins and loses.
The end screen of each round is the reason why i do not play this game mode as a MMR 3 player.... playing in a lobby with half the team being 5 MMR or above is just stupid und honestly not fun at all. These guys are so sweaty and nuts that I basically only have a chance with a lucky frag or shotgun kill... otherwise i am basically cannon fotter. Crytec need to adress this madness fast.
Soul survivor doesn't cost anything to enter, if you focus on grabbing the wellspring first you will win most of your games. 99% of my games end with players killing eachother whilst moving to me and end in 1 or 2 kills. It's also a great mode to practice and warmup your aim for bounty hunt.
I hate that they took the teir 3 hunters out of Soul Survivor... Thats why i used to play it a lot. I dont know if there is even a way to get them at all now..?
Hey witters, it's a shame we lost tier 3 hunters in soul survivor but you can still get them for bounty hunt, like all other skins you need to buy them with 100 hunt dollars.

It’s whatever you want, go first and defend/trap it up or let them get it and pick people off which works the most for me

I believe they did change the way MMR works, I played soul survivor for a week and I never left 6 stars.

Yes, unfortunately they moved the tier2 and 3 skins and added them to pool of hunters for bounty hunt.

These guys are so sweaty and nuts that I basically only have a chance with a lucky frag or shotgun kill... otherwise i am basically cannon fotter. Crytec need to adress this madness fast.
Soul survivor doesn't cost anything to enter, if you focus on grabbing the wellspring first you will win most of your games. 99% of my games end with players killing eachother whilst moving to me and end in 1 or 2 kills. It's also a great mode to practice and warmup your aim for bounty hunt.
as a 2 star soul survivors dont feel worth it xD
I hate that they took the teir 3 hunters out of Soul Survivor... Thats why i used to play it a lot. I dont know if there is even a way to get them at all now..?
Hey witters, it's a shame we lost tier 3 hunters in soul survivor but you can still get them for bounty hunt, like all other skins you need to buy them with 100 hunt dollars.
This mode is stupid and doesn't make any sense. A solo hunt would be better. If you leave with a bounty you keep your person.
Your aim is ridiculous. How do you even fight against someone as good as that?
@@TheWiddaC I die a lot in hunt, like everyone else. Sometimes hunt is with you and then sometimes against you 😅😁
