I was umming and aahing whether to get an imperator sub for the Cutter skin this month but a very kind soul gifted me one free so i've upgrade my backup ship Aurora LX to a Cutter Rambler and looking forward to taking it to Pyro :)
That paint would be a very nice addition to my Aurora ES there's two reasons why my Aurora es is the best ship in the game the first Aurora es is bought and paid for by me it's mine I own the title second if I wanted a bigger ship second if I want a bigger ship I'm going to take yours that you spent the money on
It's so lazily done. The graffiti doesn't look realistic at all. Just jpegs dropped onto the texture file with no care of how it looks on the geometry.
I'd really like to see the Meridian paint for all the Crusader ships. Not a fan of most paint schemes. Would really like to see a gun metal gray for the Cyclones.

Seriously though I'm looking forward to two major things for the systems.. a new camera suite. And custom decals and graffiti art like you see here but personalized and coded into your hanger 🤔 just sharing some thoughts 🪐
My prediction is the next two will be Catapiller and Dragonfly. I would love to be wrong and have the next set come after the Ironclad and get an Ironclad Dying Star paint
Just shows that appreciating ship paints (or paintings & art in general) is subjective. I personally do NOT like either of these paints; does not make me right or you wrong, it just is a personal opinion.
The Vulture & Corsair versions also had that look where it was mostly on one side and the other had hardly any. The Cutlass version is the worst though with its almost symmetrical paint job and big empty spaces that scream for graffiti. I suspect the problem is that it would notbwork when the doors are open and also the different versions have a different mix if airlocks/does. Note: they could not have added graffiti to the Cutter tail fins as they are different on every variant.
I know they don't have the tech to do it but it would be nice if the pattern was randomized. Pulling up next to a buddy with the same exact graffiti layout looks silly.
I hate you for showing me things I need now. Paint on the top or bottom of a ship feels like a thing you wouldn't normally see while it just sat around but with them being spaceships... that feels like it'd be my go to cutlass option now.
Would love a dying star paint for my Terrapin Medic. I think the Vulture is still my favorite one so far though. Hope to see many more in the future. Maybe the Polaris? :D Definitely everything Drake and MISC though.
Yeah, but it's kind of a Drake thing. This paint is only on drake ships, and I think the only way it'll change to a different manufacturer is if we as a community make enough noise about it. Somebody make a Spectrum Post!!!!
@@CallMeTeach2 KInd of makes sense I guess, since drake is the bad-guy brand but I really think MISC ships would look great with it - though I'd leave them silver (airstream mobile home) look and then just add the graffiti for those.. as for other ships, maybe some fake wear and battle scars on the hulls along with the graffiti.. then any industrial ship like the mole, anything that Pyrotechnic Amalgamated might have used in their mining opperations, such as most Argo ships, the Pioneer obviously and any other heavy industrial ships from other manufacturers like RSI Orion (when it comes out) and RSI Arrastra, etc.. and others too..
the graffiti painting fits the cutter very well... its a flying junk brick that looks like half of its parts already got stolen by gangmembers in a meth-junky infested alley
The dying star paints are my least favorite. I wish they would give subs an option to take the items or to get like $2 in store credit. I'd take the credit for all my dying star paints. I'd like this paint more if it was able to go overtop of other paints.
To each their own I guess... to me these paints are awful... they'd be great if on derelict or crashed/repurposed ships in stations or pirate bases but definitely nor for my ships. They can definitely come up with better and simpler paints like they've done in the past. Happy that someone likes them though. Keep up the vids!
Yeah those BIS paints is some of the worst shit I have seen in the game, and I think the only reason they are in a game was to "represent" a certain crowd. It's a shame cause I have the C1 so I will be getting the skin but I don't think It will ever see the light of day since I already use my other 2 skins. Even my BIS cutlass skin from a couple years ago is significantly better but I hate the cutlass now so I don't have one.
Cig sells garbage paints. I love sc atvthe same time underneath I'm irritated with what seem the lack of caring. The sabre paints are the best they have to offer. They make the older sabrs look great.
I’m in full agreement with your statement in the 1st 30 seconds. Underwhelming paints. Just lazy design work. It’s so easy to change the color of a texture on a 3D model it’s silly they change so much for two tone paint job.
who ever did the pyro paints know what we want and is talanted... these lame paid color swaps need to be banned... payin for these graffiti paints is 1000% reasonable
There’s a completely missed opportunity here to provide them as decals and let the players lay things out unique to their ship. It would provide another layer to skin sales, but also be better for diversification and personalisation amongst ships. This skin on its own looks alright if you’re into that style but will instantly look bland when another ship painted exactly the same pulls up next to it.

The slang term "Chad" "It later came into use in Chicago as a derogatory way to describe a young, wealthy man from the city's northern suburbs, typically single and in his twenties or early thirties." So CIG is ok using derogatory terms for certain areas in Chicago on their ships now?
They have yet to realize the untapped market of vehicle skins. Imagine how much they'd sell at $5 for "regular" skins, and a little more for "Exclusive" or limited skins.
Theae subscriber paints are awful. If they were street art then it would be nice but these are just ugly tagging. They are an example of the reason that I don't have a yearly subscription I can't guarantee that the subscriber flair isn't going to be really offensive like these. So I can only subscribe when I know what the flair is going to be. I really liked the Best In Show Paints. They were really classy.

Good question Elf, some of the videos I make them for my viewers, I know they need to see or need to know in order to make their own decisions. To be honest, I enjoy making most of the videos, but some video I don't enjoy as much, but I know I have to make them for the viewers, so I did. And the rest, oh boy, I enjoyed it so much. Wifey always ask, why you laughing when you do the editing, because they are fun.

Both are excellent, yet i have a Foundation Festival for theCB, so no contest its the FF paint always, yet the Cutter i will use for def.

The pain is not perfect but it's better than the best in show this year

now we just need an idris paint job with a huge spraypainted wiener on it. the sales would be epic on that skin.
