Famous from Wicked Tuna and the Perfect Storm, Cape Ann has long stoic history of sea travels and fishing. Starting in Gloucester, MA the Cape Ann Scenic Drive hugs the outline of Cape Ann on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean through Rockport, MA and back to Gloucester. Enjoy the stunning views of their famous rocky shores, ocean waves, and seaside marshes all lined by luxury homes to early settlement homes. Gloucester is a famous tourist destination on the northern shore just an hour north of Boston, Massachusetts. Not known for its beaches it is more known for its immense fishing culture, whale watches, and historical significance as the oldest seaport in the United States.
I hope you enjoy the scenic drive along around Cape Ann through Gloucester and Rockport, Massachusetts. The purpose of these videos is to bring some relaxation or showcase tourist destinations in their natural state without music or narration allowing the location to be the character. My mother grew up in Rockport. I remember it well from my childhood but I'm living on the Mississippi River now and haven't been in Rockport in probably 40 years. Thanks for the tour. I even got a glimpse of Motif #1 in Rockport Harbor.

Hello from California! Every time I did this drive it was full of bluehairs driving 15 mph. Wish you'd stopped at Dogtown on the way. Sure did bring back some good memories though.
