I bought them both to compare. Beats just don’t sound as good, the buttons you have to click on the side make it feel cheaply made, it sits too tight on the head, but it pairs very easily to my Apple devices. The noise cancellation feature on the beats headphones are pretty terrible though. Bose 700 sounds amazing, but sometimes glitches and makes a “crackling” sound, they also sometimes drop connection to my device-you have to keep on top of downloading the latest updates for your Bose headphones to avoid these problems, which gets a little annoying. I like that there’s an app for Bose, so you can adjust the EQ. Good things about Bose: fits so comfortably over your ears, amazing sound quality, feels like a luxury item (whereas I didn’t like the quality of the beats), and it has amazing noise cancellation. I hope this helps anyone who’s trying to decide between the two.
I was stuck in between the two and I ordered my 700's an hour ago I didn't know if I made the right decision but you cleared up my mind cuz I thought the same of the beats they do feel a little cheap
@@legendarygamekiller236 You made the right decision! I think I had a defective pair of 700s at first, so I retuned it because I was having so many issues with randomly losing connection. I received a new pair of the 700s, and it works flawlessly; been using it for a few months now and I definitely prefer it over the Beats.

It literally slips off my head if I'm doing sit-ups lol The Beats ones do fit tighter on the head, but for me, it really pressed hard against my ears, which made it uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. The Bose is awesome, and won't slip off your head if you're just using it while sitting at a desk, or lying down in bed, etc. For workouts now, I just use AirPods.

Tried my friends 700s but they just seem to complicated and to much money for a pair of damn headphones. The solos however hurt my ears over time because their small cuffs. But I do know the studios have bigger cuffs and the bass is top notch. So I think I’m going for beats for sho

I just bought the Bose 700. I had the Beats Studio 3 before but someone stole it. I’ve been using the Beats studio 2 since and I needed an upgrade. I purchased the Bose 700. It’s nice looking. All in all, I think the beats have a similar sound but the beats have better bass quality. The Bose has an app that is adjustable BUT when adjusting the treble or bass, there is no difference. Working out, the Bose headphones does NOT stay on your head because of the swivel. It always falls off. I would rather get the beats studio instead. Anyone want to purchase my Bose 700?
Had the beats they broke at the hinge not a good design looking up what alot of other people say about them and having that hing brake just got the bose and loving them seem like a stronger build quality

Bose 700 has perfect mic in comparison to jabras and Cisco headphones at similar price range, however keep in mind it can be used only via Bluetooth connection .
I had the beats. Didn’t even last a year. Both sides started cracking and eventually one side completely snapped. This was from just average use and never left the desk in my office.

So I'm also rooting for the durability factor of the Bose. I don't know, I guess I'll find out when they get here.

Not how it works. It's really hard to set the perfect volume or that sweet spot with these headphones. If the volume's too quiet, then clicking the volume up by one is too loud. You have to play with the on screen volume slider to make it just right. This is just poor design and lack of consideration for the user.
Clarity and accuracy sound replication is “better”. Exaggerated or underexaggerated frequencies are bad. Beats exaggerate bass. Neutral is better. Neutral is natural. Bose are more neutral

Can you tell a difference between the beats solo 2 and solo 3? I have the solo 2 and was thinking about upgrading, but lots of people say they are identical in sound.
@@Bizzare77777 oh 100% I can tell the difference - the beats solo 2 is slightly louder but I use them on the train and everyone can hear my music blasting as solo 3 is more echo sounding and I love that no one can hear when you blasting them loud due to noise cancellation - also the beat solo 2 Hurt my ears after a while as they sit on the ears as the solo 3 doesn’t put any pressure on the ears I go solo 3 but solo 2 is good also but not for public if you blast music like me
I own both. I am a genuine Audiophile , The Bose 700 are massively overrated , Average sound and almost no bottom end. VERY hot on the ear. Beats yes , slightly exaggerated but just so much better to listen too. Bose has better features you say ? who cares, its sound here that's more important. Also Beats look way better. The 700's feel like you should be 70 years old listening to Mozart.

Beats like the AirPods Pro must have no lag and hence on top of my list. Sucks that due to COVID the Solo Pro is out of stock in my city because they have neutral sound

You can always change the hinge. Its really easy! They have videos to do it. I repair beats studios and I buy them broken, repair, and sell.

They should. Because they are both closed back headphones
They don’t. I wear them all day while I study. Bose fits very comfortably over your head and ears. It doesn’t clamp down tightly like the beats do.
