    The point he makes about the Guardian not wanting to review his book is very telling.
    Not only politically, because the Left never wants to acknowledge mankind's 'fallenness', id est...we can never escape the status preoccupation
    but also it is a conscious thought humans avoid thinking...most of the time.
    "i am better than' is reserved for A-hole personalities

    Up to a point, this goes hand in hand with the dominance hierarchy described by Jordan Peterson. I specifically recalled his (by now famous) lobster analogy. However, I'm having doubts regarding his idea about hunter-gatherer societies, because on one hand we know extremely little about them (comparison with modern hunter-gatherer tribes can only be limited) and on the other hand, we do know that their societies were very varied, depending on many local factors.
