I absolutely love how you included that the CH-47 crew were testing the civies before they board. In other zombie movies when they just pick up survivors, they mostly become zombies mid air. They also turn when they reach evacuation camps. Such a small and simple detail that should give an idea of the military’s thoroughness irl.

I have seen so many movie scenes where the police has more officers, better positions and still get overrun by slow zombies (althought more most of the time).
