When we encounter fasting in the bible, it was fasting from food. Please don't add to scripture. Social media shouldn't be dominating our lives if we are true Christians.
MT I Agree Totally that we do fast from food biblically but it is So Greatly important to draw nearer to God and for Him to download into our Spirit, growth.. The Holy Spirit itself will Teach You to Abstain Also From T.V, and any distraction's whether social media and such. There is a Sanctification process that God works in and through us but we Must continually put things away as He purifies us. Every believer and even if lukewarm Christian God desires this .. It's Extremely important what we Feed our Spirit. I'm deep in my relationship with God..though years ago, the Holy Spirit told me to put away secular music even if I wasn't listening to all.. He told me to put away T.V. Separate from people that hindered my walk with Christ . whether or not we use the word Fast from these things.. God desires us to for a deeper relationship with Him. You said nothing wrong..

My name is Aneka I did a surgery and is in a life and death situation .Please pray for a financial breakthrough for me please it's the only way for me to continue living . I'm currently living in a hill that's destroying me daily I'm depressed , my daughter doesn't have the access to lessons that she needs to improve her grades , I'm being held in a spiritual and physical prison I need prayers for every stronghold to come down.
