If you are hunting alone, you should consider bring your felyne comrades, because in this quest they can use the cannon as well, so it's really a big help

u can also use barioth switch axe or any dragon switch axe + mega dash juice. use infinite combo with it and hit the breakable part on his back, u should be in the final showdown after u have done hitting jhen when he is on the other side of the ship.
good strategy, tbh i already try that before but it's online mode, i never try solo mode i thought that strategy not gonna work if i solo, maybe i'll try to reaserch it

I love the iconic monster hunter music when you use the dragonator😍. I've always killed him with melee weapons, I don't like crafting ammo😅 for long quests.(like kill 3 rathian in the same quest.)
yups so complicated using gun when hunt a bunch monster hehehe..
its annoying af cuz if you run out mid fight it gets annoying to craft

I am now finished with Jhen Mohran, 1st time fought him and it was pretty awesome and super easy,
I was using Full Set Tigrex, and the Zinogres Long sword which was the Usurper's LS, Now Im trying to slay him more
haha i got it first try too...i was like 10min on the time and i was lossing hope but then i won lol
i killed mohran like almost 50 times and i just realize this tips more effecttive

bro love the effort on the vid ive been playing for a year now and its still very useful also i cheesed this with Bomb and weapon boost(ballista and cannons and it was very fast
first time beating the UwU Whale, i thought i deal very high damage do kill it instead just repel it and the both horns are destroy to. And i notice that your video show 30 minutes time limite wherehas mine is 20 minutes. Am i in the wrong questline?
It's HR6 urgent quest,and 1 jhen mohran attack can decrease 5% your ship not like HR3 urgent where 2 attack to decrease 5%,sometime jhen mohran HR6 Can decrease 10% on 1 attack
I think cats with speed gathering skill will be helpful, and is it worth crafting narga piercing lbg to kill jhen?
Nc one brother, your pet actually might be a big help especially when you gave them the ability to boost your attacks

yups it's reset on final, i'm attacking his leg when i use melee, cz i use gun here so i'll shoot his belly, i think more weakest than leg, cz so difficult hit his belly with melee always get crush. xD

pas animasi nampar kapal di final showdown ada 2 kemungkinan teriak/nampar, klo teriak dia keatas kepala nya, klo nampar jelas animasinya, pas pertengahan animasi nampar pake gong nya biar langsung jatoh si mohran

technicly it's not match with the weapon, mohran armor good for ls, gs, bow arrow, and hammer, best armor for gunlance is rhenoplos/g.agnaktor, accorn armor.
but if you play casually or just having fun, everything is good as you enjoy the game.
I even made myself the armor and katana
I think jhen is easy but hunting and killing it is like hell ahahaha

Anyone know how to get twisted horn and earth dragongem?, i kill jhen mohran 6 times and i didn't get any of them please help me...
twisted horn is from diablos, earth drg gem from mohran hr
Actually, Earth Dragon Gem "can drop" at the Village Jhen Mohran Urgent Quest.
I got one from Carving. Though I had to Redo the quest over and over. (Around 15 - 20)
I used a simple Rhenoplos Set to get the "Artillery King" Skill and used an Ancient Blade Greatsword(Dragon 33).
Every battle is about 10 - 15 Mins long.(Including the Final Showdown)
Try to do everything that Zeal did in this Video(without the Barrel Bombs) but instead of shooting at the Fins, Just put the Dragon Bombs on the Horn and start slashing away with the GS on the breakable parts. You should be able to enter the final showdown after Jhen Mohran's first attack on the other side.
And by using all of the 20 Ballista Bullets at the Boat with Cannon Shots and Dragonator at the Final Showdown(if necessary), Jhen Morhan should be dead.
[Also, You can kill Jhen Mohran without the use of a Dragonator on both Phases.]

Oh, this is another technique of how to beat that monster.
Last 4 years, I knew how to beat it without many resources like this one but Wow.

First, break the Jhen's Front horns with the cannons as soon as the quest starts.
