    Thanks for another fine video Roger. I tried adding a silk pattern in the flat area where the dragon is and the model looked nice. I also use a 1/4 inch round nose bit for the roughing pass because I think it gets into the details a little bit deeper.

    Just exploring my options with the CNC machines and software available. You have a easy to follow step by step process using Carveco Maker that makes sense to me. I am sold on Carveco software and now looking at the CNC machines. Do you have an option on make/model with a budget of $2500?

    Hello Roger, I am probably the biggest fan, took me almost 2 years to build my CNC. It is ready to go. I have been watching your videos on how to make reliefs,program told paths and much more. You are doing a outstanding job to help others who are upcoming and newbies. My hat is off to you. I just finished programming a dragon with a frame around it similar to yours and carveco maker. I finally got the program files to complete without error after calculation. When I went to go select G code. MmTxt it’s stated I do not have a tool changer because I’ve used two different tools 2mm tapered & 12 roughing endmill. Is there anyway around this or do I have to use a different format to save it.

      Calculate the tool paths separately

    Hi Roger, I have a question for you: I have carveco maker+ and what I want to do is to take a 3D model from the library and export it in stl.

    Hi. I’m a noobie in CNC. Finally got my DYI machine running. First cut was my name. I know, very simple but after 5 months of building I was doing a happy dance. I’ve been slowly learning Carveco Maker for a couple of weeks and have a basic question. How do you get all of the 3D clip art all on one page. Mine will only show one category at a time. I can open the animals, scroll them, than I have to go up and open dishes and scroll through them… how are you able to open all of them and get them on one page?

    The converted gcode is far far smaller than the created reliev in careco maker. Any idea why?

    after my first tool pass will the program let me know when to change to the finishing tool and do I probe the z again? thanks

    • @vonster22
      @vonster22 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes it is probably a different length... I redo the z=0 after every tool change and leave the x and y settings/start point the same

    Is it a simplified version of ArtCAM? ARTCam EOL becomes free to use?

    I was wondering if you could help me, if I send you my logo I think it is . JPG, could you make a video of how to convert it to 3d carve co for gcode. I would pay you for this if it’s not too expensive.
