Yo real quick, Ether Checkmate is Aventus + BR540. Triple threat is Elysium + L’Immensite + Yasep which I believe is the scent profile you were describing. I believe they had a bottle mix up in production a year or so ago, so some Checkmate bottles contain Triple Threat juice and vice versa.
I will say it until my dying breath, ASAD is not a clone of Sauvage Elixir. More of an inspired by. Fragrance World gets much closer. To my nose, no one does Sauvage Elixir like Dior. But hey, not going to judge you for saving $200 and getting the FW dupe.

That's what I thought of when I first smelled Asad. And you're right elixr is elixr but this is good enough for me. Haha
@ ya man, a $200 difference is significant. These designers are getting ridiculously greedy with their prices.
