i was wondering when you compared beteween the price at the supermarket and the money you earned. They sell almonds in the shell or already peeled? Im asking because I only see almonds already peeled at the SM.

You need to get your self a drill power almond cracker.then you can start to make €12 a kilo for almonds out of the shell.selling any where out of spain.mike
Thanks Mick Balton. Yes we have learnt, Thankfully we only took a small sample from this year's harvest. We will continue to look for a more sustainable and viable way forward
I never sold my crop for this very reason. I used to harvest enough for personal use and let the rest fall to the ground for the wildlife. The boars love them. I don't have many trees left now due to a forest fire but I'm replacing them with fruit trees and other nut trees for personal consumption of the crop.

i would keep bag and freeze. you could also sell it ground up

Yes, already processed, clean, discard bad ones, packaging, transport,display, etc. But for this price a kg, I shall it good.
