    Great video homie this confirms what I need to do. I’ve purchased 3 vehicles in my life the first was brand need Toyota second certified corvette and the 3rd is where I went wrong and bought it from one of those second hand dealerships and it was a lemon so I will be sure to buy nothing but certified moving forward ✊🏾

    I didn't got my first car yet in Canadá, and i always see that "Certified" thing on listings on facebook marketplace. Or "Not certified". I thought that was something that was REQUIRED by law or something. So that's something the seller can do to give more reasons to buyers to buy it, right ? And some opt to not do it to not spent much before the sale ? So that's up to me to accept that or not. Did i get it right ? I know it's a dumb question.

      We can't speak on Canadian laws but a vehicle is not required to be certified in the US. Dealer Certified vehicles have the benefits stated in the video.

    Assuming I buy a CPO Toyota from a Toyota dealer X, 50 miles away from me (because if was a great deal 🙂), but take the car for an "certified" eligible service at a different Toyota dealership Y nearby. Can dealer Y say I have to pay out of pocket because I didn't buy the car at Y ?

      Manufacturer Certified Warranty is covered at any of the same manufacturer dealers. So as long as it falls under the coverage, it doesn't matter if you bought the vehicle their or not

    What about certified vehicles that have moderate damage? Should they be considered for purchase

    • @MattBlattDealerships
      @MattBlattDealerships  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it can be perfectly okay to buy a car that has been in an accident as long as the vehicle suffered only moderate damage!

    I bought a CPO Lexus from a Lexus dealership ... Yes. there is an extended warranty BUT it is an "after-market warranty" not associated with the dealership or the manufacturer ... I subsequently had a problem with a shock absorber ... finally, after several telephone calls and my comment that "perhaps" Lexus and Toyota should be advised that the "extended warranty" is a sort of "bait and switch" incentive to by a CPO vehicle, the warranty company reluctantly agreed to replace it ... perhaps it would be a good idea for you to advise that the warranty is "after-market."

    If I understood correctly- the difference between a certified and a non certified vehicle is in the warranty ?

    • @MattBlattDealerships
      @MattBlattDealerships  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes and a few other things like level of inspection/guarantee of quality

      @@MattBlattDealershipsBut if the car is 2-3 years old then we will not get the remaining warranty? This question is for non Certified
