The ethnic cleansing of Yialousa in Cyprus 1975-76 (English subtitles)

Archive footage from Cyprus TV, to which I've added English subtitles, describing the ethnic cleansing of the exclusively Greek Cypriot village of Yialousa, in the northeastern Karpasia region of Cyprus. After Turkey's invasion of Cyprus in 1974, most of Yialousa's 2500 residents stayed put in the village. But, by the end of 1976, the Turkish occupation regime began moving in Turkish Cypriots from the Kokkina area, who terrorised the locals and forced them to leave.
