Covering Netflix Umbrella Academy Season 4 Trailer. Changes to the new Rebooted Universe Timeline, The Umbrella Academy is set in a universe where 43 women around the world gave birth simultaneously at noon on October 1, 1989, although none had shown any sign of pregnancy until labor began. Seven of the children are adopted by eccentric billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves and turned into a superhero team that he calls "The Umbrella Academy." Hargreeves gives the children numbers rather than names, but their robot-mother, Grace, later names six of them: Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Ben, and Viktor. Reginald puts six of the children to work fighting crime but keeps Vanya apart from her siblings' activities, claiming she demonstrates no powers of her own.

They wrote "The train arrives soon..." on instagram and the fact that five looks at an empty train PLUS five and lila looking at what seems multiple timelines on that screen in that station PLUS the fact that they are in the apocalyptic place coming out of a STATION makes me think that this train will take them to other timelines.

Here's my theory! Putting it here so people might see!
In their insta they have a picture with small details on it revealing 3 characters called jean, gene I think and eddy and it says the episode is called "the unbearable tragedy of getting what you want" so their lives have probably not gone as planned now.
Yup the train looks like some time travelling train. Even 1min 22 seconds. Looks like yhe train tunned starts glowing blue to teleport
ngl i'm just surprised with how chill everyone is with Alison. It doesn't feel like there's any animosity there at all. I mean fair with it being the final season and them not wanting to waste time, but i'm still feeling unsure about her character after season 3.

I think they understand why she did it and it actually brought back a few characters after they were killed last season.

She did bath in but she did get them back to life and normal again. So like 🤷🏼🤷🏼

1:08 I love that the subway map looking thing probably allows a knowledgeable user to edit the properties of this new world.
Like a scaled down version of the universe machine in S3.
And the fact the pattern is like the promotional background throughout the trailer makes me think that thing will be extremely important.
Also the quick shot of flying through a glitchy subway tunnel at 1:24
Then when they exit the subway at 1:27 and it looks like S1 apocalypse.
I think that thing is a literal world editor. They slightly figure it out and mess up this new world completely. Also possibly in an attempt to edit their powers back, they end up with the wrong powers (Victor shooting fire from his hands) I think they're doing the subway as a combo televator and world editor.
And the scene where they go to get in the car like "We're back!" That could possibly be in a later episode, after they made it out of the subway.
It would explain the randomness of some of the scenes. The armed Santa, Armed fast food employees. (Edit) Actually it's very likely the commission exists again in this reality. I hope we get a Hazel cameo.
I initially thought the Luthor in the ball pit was a direct result of it, like a world made of balls. However, 0:20 I think we're seeing a reality where Diego is a Father, spinning his daughter to hit the piñata. But oddly no other recognizable characters.
Gawd I've been waiting for this 4th season of umbrella academy. This summer and fall is gonna be lit for the comic book show and movies genre

I think everyone get a different version of their power. Victor's energy blast was always blue before now it's some kind of orange red. And Ben's tentacle usually come out from his front body, now it come out from his back
And Fives jumps are always blue but now they look purple.😊
They might be trying to rescue Sloan. If she’s alive, she won’t remember any of the gang or Luther, so they might be trying to find her or rescue her from someone. Also the timeline is probably in the 1900’s as there using wall phones, telephone booths, and a old camera instead of a phone.
Sloane will still have her memories (if she's alive) since she also stand on the star like the other Umbrella kids did before Allison push the red thingy.
They used land lines, and telephone booths in the original timeline. (First season). Old computers at the library, and I don't remember anyone having a cell phone, just land lines. So, I think even their original timeline, even if it had some similar things and events to the real world outside the show, and it was supposed to be set in the the same year as the year the show was released (or made - I think it was supposed to be 2018 if I remember correctly, that was the year they were trying to get back to in the second season when they got stuck in the sixties), it still wasn't "OUR" timeline, if you know what I mean. They didn't have the same tech as the real 2018 of our world.

The subway has a multiverse map and Lila and 5 are shown coming out of the underground multiverse/ time subway post apocalypse . They probably have to take the train instead of using their powers. Fun fact…filmed in Toronto’s abandoned subway station UNDER Bay station.
I want to see how 5 become the head of THE COMMISSION... and about the warning the old 5 gave to the young 5 for not rescuing the timeline

I peed in my pants a little while watching this lol .
My working theory is that by the end of the season, they are going to reset the timeline exactly the way it was at the beginning of season 1. So they discover that the whole entire thing is an endless loop of the same timelines being destroyed and it's too late for them to do anything about it. Seems fitting for the tone of the show, that they can't and won't change their nature and so they've trapped themselves and all of creation in this whole shebang.

I just want to have Sloane and Luther back together. Most wholesome couple on this show. (Although I do like Diego and Lyla too) I'm just afraid Sloane might not be in the show anymore, or if she is, then maybe she doesn't remember anything or might even turn into the bad guy (if she manages to access her powers?). I just don't want an unhappy ending for this.

Ben is the disaster that ends the universe. The enemy is a group of people who figured out that the timeline changed and are trying to reset it. Also nobody remembers how Ben died the first time indicating this might in fact have already happened in the original timeline.
Fun Fact: Ben’s tentacles usually come out from the front, but since he lost his powers and got them back the tentacles seem to appear from his back.
