Great video! It's one of our fav so here is the trick I give everyone: everyone should use their own pair of 4 Village dice! You roll the Village Dice, but give everyone 4 dice to place themselves so that you can do instantaneous play (you all turn your own village dice to what the first player rolled). Except for the owl's nest and favor cards which have a specific player order, you can do everything else! When choosing a Comfort card from the Owl's nest, you almost always know what you want to go for. If you are the 1st player, grab it so the other players can take theirs for anyone else who went there that turn. Same for the ladder side: you just need to wait till the first player decides which card they want (and of course have the die for it) and boom, you can do the rest of your turn at the same time because you've used your own village dice. Cuts down on play time by half for us (we're 2). Best would be to have different colors of dice to avoid confusion. I mean, adding 3 sets of 4 dice isn't gonna break the bank :)
Got an opportunity to play this one . I really liked the dice as your workers and the “‘wild dice “ . We took much longer than an hour but we were learning the game . Maybe it’s just me but I found myself sometimes taking several minutes trying to figure out my moves .My 11 year old wouldn’t have hung in for an hour + .
