Not at all - AP gain is 3x times easier on 2.0 that it was on 1.9 making ap trade not as attractive given some of the current crackdown on ap traders. In additon, EU got a change where the azure medals (needed for 55 gear) are untradable and can be obtained via siege/daily quests - which means that whales and ap traders still need to grind to get their items putting everyone on the same playing field in terms of obtaining their gear.
I sadly decided to leave AION Classic because of the really bad droprates, the change in EXP required to level and them still refusing to add the quest teleportation feature to catch up faster. Oh, and skillbooks and soulhealing costing a billion kinah, yeah, not fun. Killing the droprates however is still my main issue. Aint no fun grinding for stigma's. It could have been so nice, so nostalgic. AION in it's current form is just not something I enjoy anymore, sadly.
@@aselon_eu Just saw the 2.4 patch notes. Glad they add the teleportation feature and lowering the exp required to level. However they didn't say anything about droprates and stigma/soulhealing. That still remains a big problem imo.

Quest tele does exist ya moron. And quest tele is dumb, thats what kills any form of PVP because now no one is running around from quest to quest interacting with each other and coming across enemies. Teleportation system single handedly killed rifting. Thanks to all the cry babies
Here comes most likely a big "blind spot", another server loses tons of players, other one "still got players" says to me that the players from other servers transfered themself into the more populated server. So needs to be pretty much calculate both servers population since release and then count how much players are active in total right now. In many cases even people got characters in both servers. It is a lot more than 20% left since release. I feel this is not taken into action. Amusingly also I see tons of familiar names in this video who did play like 4 years ago.
In this state Aion is playable only by people who have premade groups and in those groups players who have no life and play 15h+h per day I will just mention the absurdity of Bakarma Spear and god forbbid Zapiel Spear Only full allies can get Zapiel Spear Why should i play it if I cant have the best of the best? Im not saying I want it for free I am just saying that i want a chance to get it

@@RobertDragos , yw! Sadly right now there is no some really good way to earn kinah on normal way. You could do some sell runs or maybe get into crafting.
I still play almost everyday in NA and have been playing since Aion originally released. Love this game and always will. Also just a side note if you are interested I would like to see maybe walk through of some of the higher 1 player dungeons such as Taloc Hallow.
@@SocietyOfGaming I would disagree with that, as my main is chanter and Ive ben playing this class for years I can ensure you majority of the content provided atm is absolutely healable without cleric. The only instance where cleric is a must is BT, but even within the BT you can solo heal for example Abhama, Macunbello or Virhana with no problems at all. As per solo play, not 2 sure about solo Eso for example yet, as i dont have much time to play so my gear aint the best yet and aint got dps tree, in theory should be possible to solo ESO in dps tree, and ofc lower lvl instances like TL etc.
yea they just restarted the game but adjust it to nowadays for me it was ok but i found details that i don't like i won't say which i prefer to be the only one who left because of this.
Hello! I didnt play Archeage Classic but I know that is a private server, not official one, so you play at your own risk. To play safe you need to play Archeage on official servers published by Kakao Games, not on private server.

Nostalgia brought me back to Aion and I regret it because I ended up hating the game. On Tahabata, nothing is being done about bots. Same ones running around. Population is bad. Many hidden obstacles/terrible rates that will force you to spend cash to buy enough kinah to proceed. Siel is least of my problems. Game is a chore now rather than an enjoyment, but maybe that's just me because I'm not hardcore.
Great video. I had to stop playing the game for a while, got tired of the XP cap and im stuck at lvl 48, and i hate to grind, I prefer to lvl up doing quest like Aion 3.0 or 4.0 Another problem I had is in some areas you barely can defeat mobs in 1 vs 1, so if you attack 1 mob like 2 or more will come to attack to you, making impossible to beat the area if im playing solo
@@yoshi3706 you'd be pleasantly surprised. Also, regarding leveling stick to campaign quests and once you are done with them do repeatable quests in reshanta for xp - once you are 51 you can duo Udas Temple for xp and with some extra campaign quests you'll hit 55 in no time. Also, at 55, you can get Tac Arena Gear which is really cheap (2 weeks of arenas more or less) and that gear is enough to do all end-game content we have at the moment, so you won't struggle at all.
I respect your optimism but for 2.8+ Korea went very P2W with events and shop promos, watch it coming to Gameforge 100%. The server definitely doesn't feel dead even if 1000 players are online at the same time due to PvP being focused in two not too big maps + silentera (considering the endgame zones are like 30% for Gelkmaros or Inggison), however, yes from a global standpoint and looking at general numbers the game is very "irrelevant" in the gaming space, so gameforge will soon take advantage of all the P2W events that KR has held to make money before it's too late. The issues of APT,RMT and BOTS will never be fixed, they don't make "enough money" to truly care and diminish it, it's in "milking" mode. The occasional reaction when the public complains will be enough to statiate the public's perception.. because as you said it yourself, they are too addicted and can't let go so you can call it a "coping" method when they accept anything (even if a lie) from Gameforge. Cheers mate.
You'd be plesantly surprised actually - quite a few positive steps have been made in the past few months. For instance, gold sellers are no where to be seen on lfg due to recent changes to the client (filter). GF has also cracked down more seriously on bots - before you would see them swarming everywhere, especially in Reshanta main city + skill book NPCs, now you'd be lucky to find them. They are not completely gone, but their numbers are reduced by 80%. People who do illegal RMT and get caught get their kinnah removed and GF removed about 2.5m ap from the top ranked players who were cought AP trading. To further make AP trading less appealing, EU received a custom change where the Azure medals are untradable (obtainable only via dailies/siege), meaning even if you are a whale or ap trader you still need to grind to obtain your PvP gear unlike how things were on 1.9. Regarding the P2W, 6 months into Classic EU we haven't had a single item in the Daeva/Event Pass that would be considered p2w, even the events we received (though a bit lackluster) haven't had a p2w element to it. Regarding the Korean p2w in future patches, a fellow content creator asked a few people who currently play on KR because we shared similar worries like you do and has said that the p2w was really bad on the new server - for the old ones everything remained unchanged. The economy has stabalised, people have found other ways to make kinnah, and AP gain is 3x easier compared to 1.9. With a single alt, you could make 20m on average from LUT kinnah box/selling your KKM and Eso Run. If you do BT d.e/sell runs you could be looking at additional 20-25m average (could be higher depending on luck). World drop gold items sell for 5m a piece on broker due to their good d.e rates as well. Of course, there are other means to make kinnah, but these are some of the first that come to mind that bring big buck. Not to mention that the Tac gear which you get almost for free on 2.0 socketed with white manastones that are really really cheap now is enough to do all end-game content so new players don't have to struggle. Quite a few QoL improvements coming in 2.4 as well that would make a lot of new & returning players happy. I know it may not be the exact classic experience we would have hoped for but it's deffinitly getting there one patch at a time.

@@TheAsmodianleader lots of quality of life improvements, skill changes, maps, pvp content etc. However, just a fair warning, it won't be the exact 3.0 we remember since Korea is going in a different direction since 2.7. Still keeping some things the same but making changes here and there.
Must say this here because of different time zone from your live streams so have to watch your recorded one. Completely disagree with Felografix. What he talks they did in the past in retail and they failed. People will leave because that's their nature not because they implemented 1.9.......in fact if thee used 2.4 as starting point more players would have quitted because most players wanted to see that first experience from abyss not gelkmaros from the get go. Now they doing a good job since they fixed and improved many things like quests tracker that never was there when game launched back then. Honestly all other mmos are easier but ppl don't play Aion because its easy don't forget. If you get all patches within 3 months all games would die because players consume content fast nowadays so 6 months at least for a patch is a good starter point.

Its not that P2W is acceptable completely, I dont like it also, but if the game is very good then mild P2W is fine. Hard P2W I will avoid even if the game is very good. I hope that explains what I meant.

What's P2W about it? There's nothing in the shop or Daeva/Event pass that gives you an edge. And if you talk about Siel Aura, well, that's the membership fee - not really p2w mate - check again.
It is called pay2play model dude, are you like new to the world of video games? It is a good model becouse it weeds out bots so you have decent people who acctualy play the game

Its still ok, but its P2W! You will need to pay about 10 euros or dollars per month to play game normally, that is cost of Siels Energy for 30 days.

No, not for now! Chanter for now still cant heal as cleric... but every group needs it anyway for its support.

Pretty much what @feolka said - every dungeon except BT can be solo healed by a chanter easily on 2.0. Later you could even solo heal abysal splinter.

I recommend Aion Classic EU, Atreia server. Still very high population of players and active community.
