I didn't realize it, however; a few years ago I knew and felt whole in nature, I sat on the earth and soaked up the smells the sky the earth all the little life forms around, I also found that I had NO interest in movies or shows, I kept watching you, Deepak, and others that I felt drawn too; but your teachings came across to me in a profound way, they were the most healing. I know I am on a path, where I don't know but I do feel the stillness/presence more and I feel that all is or will be well? I’m ok with not knowing about “exists” unless and until I need to, i.e., the universe (I say God, and even Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) wants me to. I exist, but I am also aware of it. I am aware that the moment of the present is fleeting. The past is nothing but a memory and the future is nothing but a thought. How does it make sense that I exist "now" but _not_ exist the moment after? This terrifies me to an indescribable degree. My whole body feels cold and numb. My mind goes limp, completely gripped by the terror of the inevitable and its absurdity. I can't _not_ exist, it is impossible to _not_ exist, but I *will* not exist. This is insane. I've been this way for decades and the longer I think about it, the stronger _it_ becomes.

Yes it is like " the spirit world" it cannot be proved only experienced by those who need to experience it, it is there but it doesn't exist. For some the spirit world brings great comfort for others great fear, even to those who believe in it.

I understand the analogy.....the sky is a collection of gases which we breath, the sky houses our atmosphere. So therefore I am aware of the sky. Consciousness is love, I have a relationship with love. Like the atmosphere, love is an essential element for life
I am " a consciousness" like an ocean, and my body is like a fish swimming in it. Water is all around me, the medium through which I pass. The water flows in the gills of the fish, all the gills of my fish go through... and the ocean is one. I experienced and felt what I went through from a different perspective. As evidence to erase all memories in our bodies, leave only the consciousness, then connect our consciousness, and feel who we are??.

Excellent talk, which brought to mind Sathya Sai Baba the Avatar, who is famous for his "miracles" and control over matter even life and death, states in a letter in part, to Dr John Hislop that "You as body mind or soul are a dream, but what you really are is Existence, knowledge and bliss. You appear as the smiling flower, as the twinkling stars, what is there in the world which can make you desire anything?" At other times he says we are only one Consciousness, appearing as the many ,so Existence must be the same thing ,you cant have two truths . If you wish to read the whole letter, page 179 "My Baba and I" Dr John S Hislop, this book and Sai Baba has been of great importance to me the accounts and letters are fascinating, beyond belief..
One of the synonyms for Sky (called Akasha in Hindi) in Hindi is shunya which literally means zero:nothing. Interestingly, Akash is the fifth element other than the air, water, earth and fire which is replaced by ether in western philosophy.

Rather than say consciousness does not exist, I would maintain that as the term is often used consciousness lacks definition, it is undefined. This is because it is an inherently subjective concept. The other use of the term does exist, that of the ability of someone to be able to demonstrate his/her awareness of surroundings (able to say how many fingers are held up)..

So I was standing in the window, having a vape when I saw a hummingbird fly into the frame that I call my view. Being in the now I said "What a beautiful sight!" As I Took a puff. Then it landed on the branch to preen. I thought to myself "how beautiful that nature takes care of Itself" And then I had the realization that I am nature therefore; I must take care of myself. This inspired more thought. If I am nature and the bird is nature, and all of nature is connected then we are all one. This led to more thought. If we are connected as one does the bird know I am watching it... Can it feel my existence. or is it just busy ensuring its own existence. The Hummingbird is not worried about the constructs of man. It worries about food, water, sleep and predators. It does not know what an expense is, no need to worry about rent, or what happened on the news today. It is humming along looking for that next sip of nectar to provide it the energy it needs for the next 10-15 minutes of flight. Here I am worrying about something I said in the 3 grade! I went to take another puff, but my battery had died and I realized that I must not have needed that one. I can achieve calmness by just observing. I realized that my thoughts hold me back from the things I love most. I fear man because man is a predator. We do not know how to control our emotions. Does the hummingbird stress about where it will get its next sip? NO It will just find it and look for the next one. For the hummingbird has no future. Because the future doesn't exist! -me
The following question is asked every now and then in life , for example, at a police checkpoint: "Where are you from, and where are you going?" The question refers to the difference between the past and the future. In this respect, there are two answers; one metaphysical and one directed to the person. The metaphysical answer is: "I was already there, and I will always be". The one directed to the person is determined by at least two variables and therefore often turns out differently. Is there an answer that combines both? Yes! The answer is: I am on vacation. People call it Life. It is up to me how I spend this vacation and how much suffering or happiness I create in it.
There is one comment that is intriguing me nowadays about Eckhart and would like to know your opinions on this. Some says that Eckart's physical body must look better than that (straighter body not hunchbacked) given his supposedly high level of consciousness. This is based on the premise that the more conscious you are, the healthier you are. So, any thoughts ?

Yes it is like " the spirit world" it cannot be proved only experienced by those who need to experience it, it is there but it doesn't exist. For some the spirit world brings great comfort for others great fear, even to those who believe in it.

I understand the analogy.....the sky is a collection of gases which we breath, the sky houses our atmosphere. So therefore I am aware of the sky. Consciousness is love, I have a relationship with love. Like the atmosphere, love is an essential element for life

I am " a consciousness" like an ocean, and my body is like a fish swimming in it. Water is all around me, the medium through which I pass. The water flows in the gills of the fish, all the gills of my fish go through... and the ocean is one. I experienced and felt what I went through from a different perspective. As evidence to erase all memories in our bodies, leave only the consciousness, then connect our consciousness, and feel who we are??.
I think Eckhart Tolle is very inspiring. What do you think should police and medics incorporate his wisdom and try to fix there’s inside and start changing their lives and counter unhappiness by observing nature (not on NETFLIX)?

Excellent talk, which brought to mind Sathya Sai Baba the Avatar, who is famous for his "miracles" and control over matter even life and death, states in a letter in part, to Dr John Hislop that "You as body mind or soul are a dream, but what you really are is Existence, knowledge and bliss.
You appear as the smiling flower, as the twinkling stars, what is there in the world which can make you desire anything?"
At other times he says we are only one Consciousness, appearing as the many ,so Existence must be the same thing ,you cant have two truths .
If you wish to read the whole letter, page 179 "My Baba and I" Dr John S Hislop, this book and Sai Baba has been of great importance to me the accounts and letters are fascinating, beyond belief..

One of the synonyms for Sky (called Akasha in Hindi) in Hindi is shunya which literally means zero:nothing. Interestingly, Akash is the fifth element other than the air, water, earth and fire which is replaced by ether in western philosophy.
Existence is all that exists.

Rather than say consciousness does not exist, I would maintain that as the term is often used consciousness lacks definition, it is undefined. This is because it is an inherently subjective concept.
The other use of the term does exist, that of the ability of someone to be able to demonstrate his/her awareness of surroundings (able to say how many fingers are held up)..

So I was standing in the window, having a vape when I saw a hummingbird fly into the frame that I call my view. Being in the now I said "What a beautiful sight!" As I Took a puff. Then it landed on the branch to preen. I thought to myself "how beautiful that nature takes care of Itself" And then I had the realization that I am nature therefore; I must take care of myself. This inspired more thought. If I am nature and the bird is nature, and all of nature is connected then we are all one. This led to more thought. If we are connected as one does the bird know I am watching it... Can it feel my existence. or is it just busy ensuring its own existence. The Hummingbird is not worried about the constructs of man. It worries about food, water, sleep and predators. It does not know what an expense is, no need to worry about rent, or what happened on the news today. It is humming along looking for that next sip of nectar to provide it the energy it needs for the next 10-15 minutes of flight. Here I am worrying about something I said in the 3 grade! I went to take another puff, but my battery had died and I realized that I must not have needed that one. I can achieve calmness by just observing. I realized that my thoughts hold me back from the things I love most. I fear man because man is a predator. We do not know how to control our emotions. Does the hummingbird stress about where it will get its next sip? NO It will just find it and look for the next one. For the hummingbird has no future. Because the future doesn't exist! -me

The question refers to the difference between the past and the future.
In this respect, there are two answers; one metaphysical and one directed to the person.
The metaphysical answer is:
"I was already there, and I will always be".
The one directed to the person is determined by at least two variables and therefore often turns out differently. Is there an answer that combines both?
Yes! The answer is: I am on vacation. People call it Life. It is up to me how I spend this vacation and how much suffering or happiness I create in it.
There is one comment that is intriguing me nowadays about Eckhart and would like to know your opinions on this. Some says that Eckart's physical body must look better than that (straighter body not hunchbacked) given his supposedly high level of consciousness. This is based on the premise that the more conscious you are, the healthier you are.
