Hi Carol, You can just staple the shade to the top of the wood where it will not be seen or attach velcro to your wood and attach it that way. Thanks for watching. Please like us on FaceBook where you can sign up to be on our mailing list. Kim
Stephen we use an industrial iron on tape called DoFix, you may want to search for something at your local fabric store. There are products such as Wonder Under Fusible Web or Stitch Witchery. Thanks for watching. Kim
Do you have any instructional videos on a Top Down Bottom up Roman Shade.. I have a window a opening 70 wide by 40 high it has three separate casements windows but its within one frame opening. I am curious on suggestions because of the width and trying to avoid 3 separate shades, I prefer one shade with less relaxed swag and prefer using a bar ...thank you
I noticed the 2 Roman blinds hanging behind you. What have you used on the top, the decorative bar or wood to hang them? It’s not a simple 1x2. I have casement windows and am wondering about using 2 blinds like I see behind you.
Hi Kim, I love your video and that you fast forwarded through the time consuming stuff. Can I mount a roman shade on a drapery rod and have the string mechanism work well? Any helpful hints?
Kim, What size was your shroud tape? 0.9 or 1.4mm? I ordered 0.9, but I am not thinking I need 1.4mm instead. I am making a hobbled shade with a finished length of 68 inches high by 64 inches wide. I had Rowley make my R-TEC EZ-Rig Soft Shade System to the size I need. At the last minute I've decided to use the shroud tape encased lift cord instead of loose strings. I think it is a much cleaner look. Thanks!

Thank you
Hi Sima, Yes this is too far apart for your rings. You want to make the spacing no more than 8" verticle and 12" horizontal.
