Our language, Brazilian Portuguese has a strong accent in the pronunciation of syllables, especially in vowels. When you move on to some music this is very evident.
Cannot answer about vocal technique but this song requires a whole lot. You need to be able to sing low and warm for gravity during certain parts and then you can let lose and go higher for more of the emotional parts. And he has this down IMO. His range and ability to move through it with what appears to be ease (from hard work) is what makes him special. I grew up in a church that didn’t use musical instruments and you somehow learned notes without knowing you were learning them? I am an Alto and a low alto at that so my most difficult thing to do is cross over into the higher parts in the alto range. So when I see someone like Gabriel bust through them with ease I know he is special. I also knows he has worked hard to get where he is today. 💗
Wow, thanks for the information, Gabriel has mastered his vocal technique. To reach this level you and your voice have to be one and you need to trust each order. You need to know your voice and it takes years to develop that muscle memory. Daily vocal warm-ups are essential because it relaxes your muscles and loosens up your voice which allows you to reach those range. It’s like when a baby goes through different stages in its development ❤️❤️
@@aymuseek6028 yeah and it honestly all depends on the church? I have been to church with 9 people singing really bad and I have been to church with 15,000 singing really great. I have been to church camp where they divided us up by parts and it was so beautiful. My brother has a great voice but when he leads singing he has one speed, and that is fast. Mainly because most song leaders, because they don’t have instruments to keep the timing right, tend to lead slow songs, with every verse, and my gosh it can drag. 😂 So my brother tries to pick it up HOWEVER it ends up being a church song version of row row row your boat, the front stays with him, middle part of the seating is behind and the back is often finishing a line behind everybody. It makes me laugh and roll my eyes at him. His response has always been, better to keep the people moving and not drag one song out for 30 minutes. And he only leads like the 1st, 2nd and last verse and if he has had a long day it will be 1st and last verses only. But weirdly I have been to church with musical instruments and I am totally lost, I have no idea when to start singing. Or end singing. 😂 Vocally I am a mess. Put me beside a strong alto and I am golden. Put me beside my brother, who I have sang with all of my life, I am fine. Put me beside my mother, who is actually all over the place and even singing the male parts sometimes, and I am a disaster. 😂 💗
